MIDGETS SUFFER HEARTBREAKING LOSS IN SUDDEN DEATH OVERTIME
The Midget Tartans suffered a sudden death over-time loss on Saturday to East LA. After battling for 40 minutes with the Bobcats and a regulation score of 0-0, the teams headed into a head-head sudden death situation. East LA started sudden death by scoring a touchdown on 4th down and converting the 2 point conversion for an 8-0 lead. The Tartans drove down to the 4 yard line before being sacked for a loss on 3rd down. On 4th down the ball was snapped, the quarterback rolled out, the pass was thrown, ball was caught by #44, and a swarm of Bobcats tackled him at the 1 1/2 yard line to end the game.
All of these boys played their hearts out in a hard hitting game. Our program is very proud of the way they represented us on Saturday. We wish all of the 8th graders the best of luck in 2010 as they move into High School.
A special thanks to Coach Ferrari and all of his staff on preparing these boys for High School Football.

Respectful Behavior
Football is a wonderful sport and a passionate game. We should always remember our attitude is contagious and sets the example for our children. It is a proven fact that children learn from example. The coaches, spectators, and the referees should come together to support all the players as they demonstrate their skills in friendly and fun competition. We ask that all parents and spectators conduct themselves in a respectable manner at all practices as well as home and away games. Profanity and/or Fighting will NOT be tolerated among parents, spectators or our athletes. The other team is our opponent not our enemy and thus should be treated with respect. While winning is important, doing your best and playing fair is the spirit of the game.
No Alcohol or Coolers
Please remember Junior All American Conference Rules state that Alcohol and Coolers are never allowed on the field. Glendora Junior All American will comply with this rule. The only coolers that are allowed are for the players on the sideline.
Thank You for your support.
