Barron Youth Softball Association introduces the game of Fastpitch Softball to young players in the Barron Area School.  This season Barron Youth Softball Association has joined a newly formed league called the Barron County Girls Youth Fastpitch League.  3rd - 8th grade will travel to local communities to play games.  Coaches are volunteer parents teaching the love of the game and skills to these girls and building a future for the Barron Golden Girls High School Fastpitch program.

Teams in the Barron County League:

• Barron 
• Cameron 
• Chetek 
• Clayton/Turtle Lake
• Cumberland 
• Prairie Farm 
• Rice Lake 

Divisions and Tournaments: 

The season will run from June 21st thru July 31st, and practices will begin the first week in June.

Game schedules are set to be released on May 27th.

          3rd & 4th Grade – Games held on Monday/Wednesdays playing 530-630pm

   2021 League Tournament - July 30 & 31 @ Cameron

          5th & 6th Grade – Games held on Monday/Wednesdays  - All games start at 6:45 pm. Games will be 5 innings or 2 hours, whichever comes first. No new inning can start after 2 hours.

    2021 League Tournament  - July 23 & 24 @ Rice Lake

          7th & 8th Grade – Games held on Tuesday/Thursdays at 6:00 pm. 

    2021 League Tournament - July 30 & 31 @ Prairie Farm

Coaches will be in contact regarding practices.

REQUIRED FOR ALL PLAYERS: All Players must have jersey uniform, black pants, maroon socks,visor,and batting helmet. This is the responsibility of the parent/player. A player will also need to bring a glove and softball cleats. Face masks are required for all infield positions.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT:  You will be assigned shift(s) in the concession stand by the concession stand coordinator once game schedule has been released.  The $50 Volunteer check will be held until requirement is completed. Once your volunteer requirements are fulfilled, the check will be shredded. If you do not volunteer, the check will be cashed and deposited to the softball youth association. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
