Opening Ceremonies will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018- Exact Time TBD (probably around 5:45pm)

We can still take between 1 and 4  9 & 10 year olds (DOB as of December 31, 2017)

We still need 2 sponsors for 4-6 yr olds, 2 sponsors for 7 & 8 yr olds and one sponsor for 11 & 12 yr olds. Sponsorship forms are available on this site and listed under "handouts".

We appreciate everyone's patience as we try to coordinate schedules, field times, etc.   All teams have been drafted.  Coaches will be calling to give you the practice time for this week only.  We are coordinating the schedules for next week and will have field availability for practices soon.

Sponsorships are still needed for 5 teams.  The Sponsorship handout with prices is listed under the Handouts section.

Tryouts are cancelled for tomorrow, March 4, 2018.  Registration is being extended through Wednesday, March 7th at 3:00pm. Draft will be held Wednesday night. There will be no try-outs this year. Coaches will begin contacting players on Thursday. Also, we are looking for umpires and an umpire coordinator.

TRYOUTS TODAY at the BSL SPORTSPLEX located by the BHS Softball/Baseball/Football Fields on Athletic Drive. 4-6 yr olds can come to try on uniforms only.  This age group will be drawn out of a hat.  All other age groups wear cleats, athletic shorts or pants & DON'T FORGET YOUR GLOVES.  Helmets, bats and balls provided. 7-8 yr olds 3pm. 9 & 10 yr olds 3:30 pm. 11-12 yr olds 3 pm.  2 Tryouts will be at the same time on different fields.  All ages can try on uniforms today. The uniforms will be located by the concession stand.  Try on the uniform, fill out the sheet of paper on the table and drop the sizes in the box.  This piece of paper will override a size on an online application.

We have paved the path and have made it easy. Also looking for a website coordinator/ facebook communicator.  You will be trained on all of it. It's fun & easy!

Registration Cost: Age of Player as of December 31, 2016: $50 (Ages 4-6) $60 (Ages 7-18) $3.50 online fee per player will apply. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS*! *Special Note: Ages 13-15 and 16-18, if there are not enough players to make a team in these age groups, the payee will be fully refunded all paid fees. Refunds will be paid during the first week after registration closes. Please register in these age groups so that we can know who is interested in playing.

If you are buying new equipment :

HELMETS: Helmets must have face masks attached (NO EXCEPTIONS- NOT EVEN AT PRACTICE).  NOTE: Manufacturers warn that altering helmets in any way can be dangerous!

GLOVES: Stores will be able to assist you with glove size or check out the link on the left hand side under "Links" to assist yo with fastpitch softball glove sizing.  We will have several used t-ball gloves for sale at the onsite registrations for great prices.

CLEATS: NO METAL CLEATS for older girls are allowed. You don't have to purchase softball cleats but there is a difference between softball cleats and soccer cleats. See Google for details.

BATS: Sweetees (Ages 4-6) must not be longer than 31" in length.  All bats must say "Official Softball", "Youth Softball" or "Fastpitch Softball" on them. 

BALLS: All balls are Optic Yellow. Sweetees (4-6 yr old)- 11" Softee, Darlings (7 & 8)- 11", Angels (9 & 10)-11", All other ages-12"

We have fielder's face masks $20/each in stock. Lots of colors! We will be selling them at the onsite registrations.

When the season begins: PHOTO PACKAGE INFORMATION will be available under the Handout column on the left hand side.  The photographer is coordinating dates and times directly with coaches.  Check out the package for pricing information. 

When the season begins: Parents & Coaches:

The City of BSL will make the call to close fields at 3:00pm if conditions will not allow fields to be used due to past or future weather. There may be days that we have a light shower at 3pm but fields will still be playable once the rain passes. The call to close the fields those days may be delayed.  All calls to close the field are made by city officials. We will ALWAYS try to practice or play every game possible.  Stay tuned to this page for field condition updates.
