WRL Return to Play

The Winnipeg Ringette League (WRL) has passed a return to play plan for the 2021/22 season.
The safety of everyone, not only those who are associated with the WRL, but their families and our
entire ringette community is paramount. As such, the COVID-19 policy and procedures has been
passed by WRL Council at a meeting held on August 25th and attended by all local association
representatives and the WRL Executives. It will be released later today and is a comprehensive plan
with options with personal choices for all. The WRL will not be collecting or storing any personal
health information. As outlined in the policy the WRL will require verification of all rostered
individual’s proof of COVID-19 vaccination (QR Code) or alternatively a COVID-19 molecular
polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test result. Let’s do our part to stop the spread while playing the
game we all love.

NEW Ringette players to ringette at R4U and U10 levels will receive half off their registration fee.
Players must not have played for at least 2 years to be eligible.
They would pay the full amount at the start of the season and if still playing in January (2022) TRA would reimburse them half back. The player must be from Transcona to be eligible.
TRA is currently looking for coaches at all levels

All association board members, bench staff, and parents/players will have to complete the Ringette Manitoba COVID-19 Participation Agreement prior to engaging in any activity held by Transcona Ringette Association. The link to the online form is below.
