MISSION STATEMENT

Clifton F.C. BRONCOS is a non-profit organization exempt from federal income taxation pursuant to Section 501(c)(3)of the Internal Revenue Code, contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.
Our purpose is to develop, promote and administer the game of soccer for children between the ages of 7 and 19. Our main goal is to dynamically train youth soccer players so that each player can excel to his or her fullest potential.
To reach our goal, we will actively develop the players by teaching them the skills, tactics, teamwork and sportsmanship to become successful competitive youth soccer players in a safe, fulfilling and fun environment.
They will be placed on teams which will be determined by their respective skill level (competitive, and premier). Teams will be train by college trainers and recruiters, whom will work with the team on an individual level to help them develop the skills to grow as players and successfully compete.

Most tryouts will be during the team’s Practice held Tuesday and Thursday 6PM to 7:30 at:

Developmental Program 

 

Ages 4-7 will introduce your child to soccer in a fun filled environment to 4 - 6 year old boys and girls.  Players will learn the fundamentals of soccer through a program of structured activities and fun games.  Emphasis is placed on individual player development.

Ages 8-10:  is offered to 8 and 10 year old boys and girls.  This program is geared toward teaching the fundamentals of the game - passing, shooting, dribbling and control.

Ages 11-17 Junior's (JR) - program is for ages 11 - 17. Individual skills are sharpened and applied in small sided games. Campers will work on soccer fundamentals and basic tactics/strategies of the game will be introduced.

Matthew Miazga, born in Clifton July 19, 1995 (age 20) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for the New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer

 From Clifton, Miazga joined the New York Red Bulls Academy in 2009 at under-14 level. While with the under-16 side Miazga helped the Red Bulls win the U.S. Developmental Academy National Championship in 2012.

On May 30, 2013 it was announced that Miazga had signed a homegrown contract with the New York Red Bulls, becoming the eighth player to sign a homegrown contract with the Red Bulls. Miazga made his first team debut at the age of 18 as a substitute in 76th minute of a 4–1 win at Houston Dynamo on September 8, 2013. During the 2015 season Miazga established himself as a starter on the club forming a partnership in the backline with Damien Perrinelle. On June 28, 2015 Miazga scored his first goal as a professional in a 3–1 derby victory over New York City FC.
