·         League Play/Playoffs

• Tier 1:  JVG, JVB will play a double round robin league.
• Tier 1: VB will play a single round robin league.
• Tier 2:  JVG, JVB, VB will play a double round robin league.
• Tier 1/2:  VG will be split into 2 pools with 2 AAAA schools in each pool. Each team will play a single round robin within their own pool and the AAAA schools will play a single round robin with the other AAAA schools in the other pool and the AAA schools will play a single round robin with the other AAA schools in the other pool.

• In any given year, a AAA school playing in Tier 1 will move to AAA for playoffs and any AAAA school playing Tier 2 will move to AAAA for playoffs.  Placement of these teams is subject to a set of criteria set out in the basketball bylaws. The only exception is a AAA school that has declared AAAA for the year.
• All playoff games will follow the format outlined in the basketball bylaws.

·        Reporting Scores

• It is the responsibility of the home school to report the score.
• All scores must be reported to the MHSAA website by noon the following day or your school faces a fine.
• All scores must be reported to the appropriate convenor by noon the following day.

•  It is not necessary to report the scores to any other media outlet, only the MHSAA.  Additional reporting beyond the MHSAA is at the discretion of the host school.

MHSAA Eligibility Registration deadline for Basketball is January 27, 2023.

Declaration to a Higher Category must be done by January 20, 2023.

      AAAA JV Provincials are currently scheduled for March 9-11, 14, 2023, in Winnipeg

      AAAA Varsity Regionals are currently scheduled for March 9, 11, 2023, in Brandon

                Final Four are currently scheduled for March 16-17, 20, 2023, in Winnipeg

      AAA JV Qualifiers are currently scheduled for February 24-25, 2023, in Winnipeg

               Provincials are currently scheduled for March 9-11, 2023, in Winnipeg

      AAA Varsity Qualifiers are currently scheduled for March 3-4, 2023
