Final Four is Set!
ECI Tourney Semifinals
July 9, 2009
After another great day for baseball, the Semifinals and Championship are all set to take place Saturday at Raider Field.
The first game will be a county rivalry game with Yorktown playing Delta at 10:00, followed by Randolph Southern playing Wilson at 12:00.
The championship game is set to begin at 3:00 Saturday afternoon.
Good luck to the final four teams! See you Saturday!

We had a great evening for baseball here in East Central Indiana this evening and thankfully Mother Nature looks like she might cooperate with our tournament this year. I've updated the tournament brackets to reflect tonight's games. You should be able to click on the link and open the file. Just in case you can't open it, the schedule for Wednesday is as follows:
Union @ Yorktown 5:00
Winchester @ Delta 5:00
Alexandria @ Randolph Southern 6:00
Wilson @ Union City 5:00
The four winners will play on Saturday at Wapahani, with games at 10:00, 12:00, and the championship at 3:00.
Good luck to all the remaining teams! Hope to see you on Saturday at Raider Field.
Good First Week!
Hopefully all of the teams playing had a great first week! Just a reminder that Northeastern does not have a team this year, so that day will now be an off day.
I still have not received entry fees from Monroe Central, Randolph Southern, Selma, and Yorktown. Please get the league fee paid ASAP.

League Entry Fees

At this point I have yet to receive any league entry fees from the following seven schools: Delta, Wes-Del, Selma, Monroe Central, Randolph Southern, Yorktown, and Muncie Wilson. If those are not already in the mail, please add the $15 late fee to the original $95 and please get that in the mail ASAP.
Also, please make sure that you have all Consent Forms in your possession before your team's first game.
No Northeastern in 2009

I received news today that Northeastern will not have a team in the ECI League this year. Their coach was very apologetic for dragging us out this long, but he was hoping to go through the school board and have it recognized as an official middle school team, but the SB did not even address the issue yet. He is planning on having their team back in next year, but at this point he can't go through w/ having the team this summer. I apologize for any and all inconveniences this causes you and your team. The best way that I can come up with a solution at this point is that on the day you were scheduled to play Northeastern, you will now have an off day.

Coaches Meeting Information

Entry Fee $95.00
- Please send to League Director by Friday, May 15. If entry fee is not paid by Monday, June 1, the team will incur a $15 late fee.
Consent Forms
- Must be in coach’s possession by Saturday, May 30.
Rosters w/ Numbers (if possible)
- Must be mailed or e-mailed to league director no later than Saturday, June 20.
Successful Meeting!
April 21, 2009
We had a great meeting tonight! There were 11 of the 16 teams that had coaches in attendance. We were able to get coach information and we drew for the tournament. The regular season will be Monday, June 1 - Monday, June 29 and the tournament will be the week of July 6-11.
I need information from the following coaches ASAP: Delta, Muncie North, and Northeastern. I need the names of the coach, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses please.
The coach information is updated on the HANDOUTS page. The tournament draw is also available on the HANDOUTS page.
I hope to get the schedule up within the next week, definitely by May 1.

ECI Coaches Meeting
