Due to an increase in gym rental fees from CBSD, we are forced to raise our prices this year. We have made every effort over the years to keep our prices as low as possible. We have even been able to lower them on a few occasions. We cannot operate the league at a loss and regret the necessity of the price increase at this time.
Price Per Player:
Ages 7 & 8 $125
Ages 9-14 $145
Senior League $160
All players must be 7 years old by August 31 in order to play in the 7 year old league. Please do not register anyone younger because they will not be able to play. We follow Suburban league age requirements and maintain consistency between the travel and intramural leagues. Seniors may not be older than 18 or graduated from high school. Space limitations make it necessary for us to strictly enforce age rules.
Intramural leagues have one night of practice in the evening midweek at CBSD school gyms, Lakeside or High Point. Practice is staggered so basketball doesn't repeatedly conflict with other activities such as CCD. There is a game on Saturday, either in the morning or afternoon. Senior League begins in November and holds two games per week through March. That is a lot of basketball. Intramural leagues are always a lot of fun and we are looking forward to another great season.
Travel Registration ends September 10, 2009. If you would like to try out for a travel team please be sure to register by the deadline. Everyone must be registered in order to tryout for a team. Those who do not make a team will be placed in the intramural program automatically. You can request a refund, however, should you choose to tryout for another competitive league.
