ROOKIE BALL
Rookie ball is a developmental baseball program for boys and girls. By having "fun through fundamentals," youngsters can expect to experience early success in thier little league careers as well as a boost to their self-esteem by learning the simplest little league fundamentals.
The program was initiated, many years ago, by the City of Pittsburgh Citiparks Program (Big League Sports) in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
This program represents the beginning of a love for the sport. For the development of the children - it is "more than just game".
