The 2007-2008 season is now over. The Confederation Oil Kings played 40 games and posted a 17-17-6 record. The Oil Kings started off slowly but showed a lot of improvement as the season wore on. They played their best hockey in the third round (5-2-1) and made some noise in the playoffs (2-2-0) before being eliminated by the eventual league runners-up SA739 Jr. Saints. Confed climbed as high as #8 in provincial rankings (Hockey Now March 8th edition) and battled hard in the 2008 Crowchild Challenge (2-2-1) making it to the semi-finals amidst some strong competition. Overall it was a very entertaining year for all involved. Way to go Oil Kings ! ! !
