ESTERO MUSTANGS

We are a Pop Warner Little Scholars non-profit youth football & cheerleading program servicing the Estero, San Carlos & Bonita Springs area. We depend solely on the support of the community for our league to survive. Our volunteers & sponsors are made up of local parents, students & businesses all here to make this a fun, positive learning experience in teamwork for your child. We hope that you will consider joining our ever growing family & wear your blue, green & white proudly in our upcoming season. GO MUSTANGS!

Next Board Meeting
November 30, 2009 - 06:30 PM
THIS WILL BE OUR GENERAL ELECTIONS MEETING! OUR NEW EXECUTIVE BOARD WILL BE VOTED IN AT THIS MEETING.
If you are interested in becoming a board member for our upcoming 2010 season, please attend this meeting.
We have available positions on the 2010 Committees to fill. Please consider participating in at least one of the several committees available in which would best suit you. Finance, Publicity, Fundraising, Auditing, Activities, By-Law, & Jamboree.
Meetings are held in the board room @ Mustang Practice Field on Williams Rd (Just West of Estero High School Baseball Fields) on the 3rd Monday of the month.
We're always happy to see new faces! Come join in on the meeting & see how you can help out to better our league.
Attendance is VERY important!
AS OUR CHILDREN GROW UP & MOVE ON, SO MUST MANY OF THE CURRENT BOARD MEMBERS. THIS WILL LEAVE A HUGE HOLE IN OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THOSE LEAVING FOR THE MANY YEARS OF TIME & DEDICATION THEY HAVE GIVEN TO OUR LEAGUE,THEY WILL TRULY BE MISSED. WE WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO STEP UP & JOIN US IN FILLING THE AVAILABLE POSITIONS ON OUR BOARD. SO PLEASE, ANYONE INTERESTED, INQUIRE IN THE BOARD ROOM!
REMEMBER, WITHOUT VOLUNTEERS, THE MUSTANGS WOULD NOT BE!

RESULTS OF LOCAL COMPETITION
The Tiny/Mitey MItes were as cute as always!
The Jr Pee Wee's really stepped it up for competition & made us proud!
The Pee Wee's were perfection & took 3rd place, they will be advancing on to regionals!!
The Midgets looked really good & took 4th place in their division!
And the coaches, as always, were AWESOME!
Cheer/Storage Building
As the Mustang organization continues to grow so does the need to expand our facilities.
We are in the beginning stages of building a new Cheer/storage building and we are looking for the community to help us out. We are in need of donations of several kinds. If you could donate building materials, such as; block, concrete, drywall, plywood, flooring, lighting, doors, roll up doors etc. or offer them to us at a discounted rate that would be a HUGE help. We are also excepting cash and labor sponsorships for this project. Whatever you can do to help out the organization would be greatly appreciated by all involved!

The Peace River Conference has awarded our organization with the SPORTSMANSHIP award! We are very proud and honored to be presented with this award & hope to keep up the true spirit of Pop Warner for many years to come! Again, congrats to all of the players, cheerleaders, parents, coaches and board members on a GREAT '08 Season!

I know all of you who have a been part of our Mustang Family the last few years have had the chance to meet Tammi. She has been our Treasurer, Registrar & the glue that has held our organization together! Well, as reluctant as we were to let her go, she has taken the position as Secretary for the Peace River Conference. But don't worry! She will still be around! She remains a Mustang board member & a proud Mustang parent! So when you see her around the field, please, take the time to thank her for the countless hours she has dedicated to our kids & be sure to wish her good luck at the conference level.
