Important Partnership Announcement
Academy
It has recently been announced that the competitive programs: Flagler United and St. Augustine United have partnered to become a new organization named FC United of Florida or aka FC United. This partnership brings additional expertise in regards to training and development. As part of this agreement, the FCU Academy will now expand significantly to build stronger technical players at an earlier age
The FCU Academy in Palm Coast is now open for enrollment for the Fall 2009 season. This program will now expand to include full uniforms and league games!!! The training will still be conducted jointly according to age in the following manner:
- U5/U6 Academy Teams
- U7/U8 Academy Teams
- U9/U10 Academy Teams
Groups will train together by age for advanced skill training and then play on their teams for their league games in a 4v4/5v5/6v6 format dependant upon age.
U9/U10 players may sign-up for the Academy and also register for tryouts for the FC United competitive teams. If they are selected for a competitive team, the player’s registration and payment will be moved to the appropriate competitive team.

Academy Skills Training Begins
FUY Academy skills training begins Wed, March 4th and runs Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:00-6:00 PM through May 8th. If you are a new academy training player, please bring completed paperwork to the first training session.
2009-Spring Skills Training Registration
The FUY Academy will continue it's highly successful skills training this fall. This program is designed for players 5-9 year olds to be able to develop their technical skills by learning from experienced and professional soccer trainers. Our club trainers have professional soccer playing and coaching experience as well as matching high levels of certification within the game.
This program will be a two night per week training session where the players will learn to master the technical aspects of the game and learn the proper techniques that are so often neglected or taught wrong in recreational programs. It will not be focused on playing league games. However, if league games are an important focus for your player, we encourage them to also play in the local recreational league as well: www.fcys.net
To enroll in the FUY Academy please visit Bluesombrero-Flagler United and create/log-in to your account. Once you create your account & player, you should be able to proceed to checkout with your shopping cart. You can elect to pay online via credit card or may send a check made payable to FUY to the address below for $60.00.
Upon completion of registration for this program, you will receive an email with the registration paperwork. Please fill out these forms and send them to the address below as well. If you are a returning academy player from the fall, you do not need to fill out the paperwork again.

Training will be on Wed & Fri nights beginning the first week of March and running through the first week of May. More information on exact times will be distributed via email prior to beginning the spring session to those that register.
