GJBA Annual Members Meeting
Gladstone Junior Baseball Association will be holding our annual membership meeting at Gladstone High School on November 18th at 7:00 PM. All members are encouraged to attend. The Association Bylaws define a member as follows: Voting Membership; All parents or legal guardians who have a child registered on a Gladstone Junior Baseball team are eligible to vote and participate in Gladstone Junior Baseball activities. Conducting an Annual Meeting is required by the incorporation of the Association.
Any person who is interested in promoting baseball and Gladstone Junior Baseball but who does not have a child registered on a Gladstone Junior Baseball team may petition the Board of Directors to become a voting member of Gladstone Junior Baseball. Upon approval by the Board of Directors, they may participate in all Gladstone Junior Baseball activities.
We will be voting on key positions for the Board of Directors including Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Fundraising Coordinator. Rookie League Completes Successful Season
As "Celebration" blared from the Dierickx Field speakers, the Gladstone Junior Baseball Association Rookie League finished their 2009 season with their annual Round Robin Tournament. After completing their games, each participant was awarded a participation medal for completing the year. Many thanks go out to the Coaches, Assistant Coaches, parents and fans who helped make this one of our most successful years. A special thanks go to Midget Coaches, Brandon Gray, for coordinating the concession stand for the day and to Casey Dean, for handling the awards ceremony. We wish all the Rookie Participants a safe and enjoyable summer and we hope to see you next year!

Gladstone Junior Baseball would like to remind all coaches, parents and players of the importance of displaying good sportsmanship at all Junior Baseball events. If we as an association take extra efforts in regards to being good sports it will make for a much more enjoyable experience for all involved.

Rainout Information To Be Posted On Website
Rainout information will be posted in the ticker that runs across the top of your screen directly under the Gladstone Junior Baseball Logo. The information will be updated on a daily basis after 3:00 PM. The information will also be available by calling the City of Gladstone Recreation Department at 503-656-5225 ext. 4. This addition should help provide better notification to players and parents of cancellations due to weather and will hopefully eliminate numerous phone calls.
