SELECTED IN ADDITION TO
ALL POOL PLAY AWARDS.
Criteria begins with outstanding play
and sportsmanship is also considered.
Teams advancing deeper into the event
will receive more placements based upon
overall final finish in the tourney.

The Champion PANTHERS BASEBALL and the Runner-up DYNASTY ELITE
are pictured in good sportsmnaship after the final game was played.
Both teams played well in the weekend and beat top knoch opponents enroute to the finals. The Dynasty were GIANT KILLERS in knocking off the FLORIDA FIRE in pool play. Then later beating the MIAMI ENFORCERS in 8 innings during semi-final action. The PANTHERS knocked off POOL A Winners WELLINGTON WARRIORS with a cliff hanger 9-8 victory before taking the crown in the finals. Neither team had won their pool outright but shared
(2W-1L) records with the ENFORCERS, WARRIORS, FIRE and BULLETS.
Overall the Panthers lost just one game in 5 tries (their first game of the event to MIAMI ENFORCERS 11-3) going 4W-1L. Dynasty went 3W-2L ; Wellington 2L-2L along with Enforcers. The Fire and Bullets 2W-1L and not advancing out of pool play. The Hurricanes and the Meteors played hard but
ran records of 0W-3L. The Meteors faced a tough pool and the Hurricanes lost their games by a combined total of 4 runs.
PANTHERS BASEBALL HOWLS !

Congratulations to the PANTHER BASEBALL CLUB for their victory and remarkable road the the CHAMPIONSHIP !!!
They slugged out 11 runs in the final game to beat the Miami Dynasty Elite
in a moonstruck game 11-2.
Hats off the the Panthers. Well done.

The final four teams were the Miami Enforcers and the Wellington Warriors
plus the teams that finished Champion and Runner-up from Coral Springs and Miami.
The Champions received beautiful T-shirts for the team worth $200 and also
awards for each player along with a Championship Trophy.
FIRST YEAR HOWL EVENT HOSTS 8 TEAMS
September 15, 2007
Today it was announced that eight teams will comprise the first year event to be played in Seminole County known as the "HOWL AT THE MOON" baseball championship. Each team was a leaders from their area and agreed to come participate in high level baseball competition.
Only solid 11U teams were extended invitations to this event.
The teams participating will be:
Miami Dynasty Elite , Coral Springs Panthers, Wellington Warriors, Brandon Bullets Gold, Manasota Meteors, St. Pete Hurricanes, Miami Enforcers, and the host Florida Fire.
Pools will be drawn later this week and schedules released shortly thereafter. Coaches meeting is mandatory to be held on Friday night.
