Announces our 1st Spring Registration Date
Saturday – December 5, 2009
10:00 – 12:00
Spotswood Municipal Building
Rookie League – Ages 5 & 6 Junior League – Ages 7 & 8
Minor League - Ages 9 & 10 Major League – Ages 11 & 12
*** Senior League - Ages 13 - 16
All children accepted from age 5 through ages 16.
* Child must be age 5 by April 30, 2010 to be eligible to participate
*** We are bringing our SENIORS back to SPOTSWOOD. In order to see the numbers we have, please register at the December 5, 2009 date
Parents must provide a copy of their child’s birth certificate at registration.
(Players from prior year have birth certificates on file with the registrar)
Anyone wishing to manage or coach must provide a copy of their
Rutgers SAFETY certification card and complete a background check*.
(*There is an additional fee of $10 for background check)

Minor Division Champions
Congratulations to the Pirates for winning the 2009 Minor Division. They played agreat game against a very tough Yankee team. The game went extra innings (8 innings) in the heat on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Both teams showed a tremendous amount of heart and determination. What a great game.
The Pirate Team is Managed by Jeff Szatkowski along with his coaches, Kevin Fee and Fred Obado. The pirate players are: Sujay Gami, Paul Mark, Ryan McCook, Tyler Catania, Owen McSweeney, Ryan Szatkowski, Chance Fee, Alex Guketlov, Nickolas Vincelli, Joseph Ptak, Shea Obado and guest player Danny Peabody.

Major Division Champs
Congratulations to the Cubbies for the win yesterday against the Phillies. After a long season of battling numerous injuries, (Matt Dwyer-broken leg, Shawn O'Connor-broken arm, and Brandon Daniel-broken finger) and barely enough players to field a team for most of the season, they pulled it together just in time for the playoffs. Coach Jeff would like to thank JT Vento, Ryan Szatkowski, Owen McSweeney and Matt Krause for helping us out when our team was short.
Cub Players: Joseph Palella, Brandon Daniel, Jeffrey Szatkowski, Jack Dalrymple, Matthew Dwyer, Matthew Dacruz, Matthew Rodriguez, Jordan Perez,Zachary Rodriquez, Nickolas DiMaria, Kyle Van Wageninge and Shawn OConnor.
The Cubs are Managed by Jeff Szatkowski and his coaches Ron Dalrymple, Joe Dimaria, and Rob Dwyer.
9U Spotswood Chargers District Team
Come out and support the 9 year olds as they play in the championship game on Wednesday in Milltown. Yesterday they defeated Milltown 8-5 and move onto the finals either vs Metuchen or East Brunswich. Time TBD.
