Rockets to play at 5th/3rd again in 2010
The Oak Harbor Rockets Varsity Baseball team will play host to the Lakota Raiders at 5th/3rd Field on Thursday, May 6th at 7pm. Again your support will be appreciated in helping us achieve our goal of selling 300 vouchers good for any 2010 Toledo Mud Hens home game.
Wade Ishmael Wins HR Derby at 5th/3rd Field
The third annual High School Home Run Derby came to a finish Wednesday, July 31st. Local High School participants battled it out all season long for a chance to compete in the High School Home Run Derby Finale. Oak Harbor’s Wade Ishmael took home the title of Champion. Wade was the first batter of the night. He hit for an impressive 41 points - a new High School Home Run Derby record - including 6 home runs. Start High School’s Ricardo Lizcano was the runner-up. Bedford High School’s Matt Drew finished third. Congratulations to Wade, and all the participants in the 2008 High School Home Run Derby!
