A's winter workouts to start in January
The A's have wrapped up their fall workouts, and the team's plans are coming together for winter practices starting in January.
At this point, the A's will hold workouts on Sunday mornings from Jan. 10 to Feb. 21 at the Dodger Dome in Kettering. The team may be able to pair some of these sessions with a Sunday morning hitting clinic sponsored by Fairmont High School. On those Sundays, players would spend part of the time at the Dodger Dome and the rest at Fairmont.
In addition, the coach would like to hold a weekly practice during the week that would focus on hitting, but these plans for now remain a work in progress.
