It looks like the writing is on the wall as Irv " Big Daddy " promised to have the money on the field on all 3 championships and it was done with no excuses. As he stated earlier , I will be falling back into administration duties and to answer the ghost writers who stated earlier in the season that it wouldn't be done , can now bite their lips and go on their merry ways. We are on a new mission for 2010 and with all the e-mails I've gotten , 2010 promises to be bigger than ever before. Some issues was still brought to light but I think in all honesty the only areas left to cover now is rosters and uniforms. I will not be asking teams to wear hats and caps in 2010 but instead will concentrate on making sure that those 2 issues are covered before we move to the next level. Now please remember that since these are the things you are asking of us to comply with , then we expect you to comply with our rules and regulations so that we walk hand in hand. All managers going forward will attend 3 meetings with the first in January which covers the first deposit and touching bases on any issues that need to be covered. The second meeting brings the next deposit in which the permits will be paid for as I begin to make schedules for the upcoming season. Also , in this second meeting all managers will be given a pre-roster sheet that must be turned into the league in the final meeting and must be posted on the website . This sheet is not the final roster but it let's us know for the time being whose playing where. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT NO PLAYERS IN THE ROUGH RIDERS LEAGUE CAN PLAY IN THE WARRIORS LEAGUE AND VICE VERSA! Both leagues will keep it's own competitive level and we will be monitoring the teams who play in the WARRIORS LEAGUE so that if they become to competitive , they will be moved to the ROUGH RIDERS LEAGUE in the future. I can hold 24 teams on Sundays in both leagues . The following league on paper which is subject to change should open like this for 2010 in the ROUGH RIDERS LEAGUE :

There will be more arrivals which will be noted at the first meeting. We intend to continue shaking things up in RSC and wait for the start of our first ever Saturday and Sunday fast pitch leagues. The need for speed has called upon RSC to incorporate this house and by golly , we shall oblige. After checking out competitive fast pitch leagues and seeing what the prize amount is being offered in terms of jackets , this venture of ours will also be a cash league. Our championship prize will range from $ 3,000.00 to $ 5,000.00 depending on the number of teams. So be on the lookout and new surprises are in store as we will continue to shake things up.
Fyllthy Animals Capture Sunday Championship
Well , once again a new champion has been crowned in RSC and this time it took 3 games to see who would get the job done. I have to say it was a classic match-up of 2 managers who did what they needed to do to win and though things got interesting at times , both sides fought with heart and courage. Fyllthy Animals took advantage of errors in the first game as they won 13-3 . With a sweep on their mind , the Diablos had other plans to thrawt those plans as they won the second game by the score of 19-18 as both sides battled furiously across the board. In the deciding game , the Fyllthy Animals rallied from a 3-1 deficit to win 5-3 behind the pitching of John aka Da Beast as the Fyllthy Animals captured their first championship on Sundays in RSC giving first year Manager Thomas " McFyllth " Wingate his first title in RSC as a manager !
I want everybody to know that all the records will be kept on the site until the new season begins and then it will be taken down. I will be adding playoff divisions for all leagues as previously stated and now it seems that I have come up with new ideas to do what must be done. I visited the championship game today to wish both teams good luck and tomorrow I will check in on the Diablos and Fyllthy Animals game. Until then , I wish everybody good luck and I look forward to seeing all of you in 2010 at the managers and umpires meeting !
As Irv " Big Daddy " has preached that no matter who won the chip the money was there on the field. Another positive step to show the world that RSC is changing it's way as he promises a new direction for 2010!
Heavy Hitters have become the 2009 fall weeknight champions !
The feat has been completed as the Heavy Hitters have won both the weeknights and Saturdays championship. It was two good teams who came to war yesterday and the day is far from over. One more championship to get as Manager Irv is looking for a complete sweep especially when the Fyllthy Animals tangle with Diablos tomorrow. Congrats to both umpires Darrin Lopez & Earl McNeil on a good job at the series and to the fans who came out including several teams who watched the action on both sides.
