Welcome to the home of the
    Scarborough Vintage Baseball League

    New Champions!!!
The Indians scored early as the Marlins pitching had control problems.
The 1st 2 runs came without a hit.
On the opposite side the Indians Mike Snider was pitching a no hitter into the 5th.
I think that says it all.
Congrats to the Indians on thier 1st year in the SVBL and also kudos goes to the Marlins for their outstanding year.
    See you in the spring,
    JT

    Pitcher of the year
Dave Green of the Marlins beat out Scott Constance of the Indians 15 to 11. Dave took 3, 1st place votes compared to Scott's 1.
    Points were awarded on a 5-3-1 basis for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
    2 teams abstained from voting.
    In order
    Dave Green 15
    Scott Constance 11
    Andy Mein 5
    Mike Snider 3
Kevin Cooney and John Willis both with 1

Even though Scott was a perfect 7-0 it was Dave Green's 6-2 record with 65 1/3 innings that impressed mostly with 73K's and a 2.07 ERA.

    Congrats to all.

    New Batting Champ
Conrats to 55 Dan Aitcheson of the A's
who batted .562 and appeared in 13 games.
Tough feat to bat that high and appear in as many games as he did.

2nd was 44 Kyle "Waldorf" Tomlin of Indians
who batted .533 in 10 games

3rd was 42 Dave "Greener" Green of the Marlins
who batted .529 and appeared in all 15 games.

Tied for the league lead in Home Runs was JT of the Phillies.
