Metro League Folds after 4 seasons
The New Jersey A's have moved to the Bloomfield League,the Swashbucklers will play in the MATL & Old Bridge NJ League. ADCO will play in the MATL while Sports Club is undecided as of November 2009.

SPORTS CLUB from Elizabeth New Jersey is a 25 year plus Windmill Fastpitch Softball Club. They played originaly in the Elizabeth,Warinaco Park League where they won many Playoff Championships. Playing in the former Summit League, Sports Club was a 2 time League and Playoff Champion.
The club was also a 2 time ASA Class B NJ State Champion, They won the 1997 & 2000 NJ State Championships. Sports Club has played in 4 National Windmill Fastpitch Tournaments in Virginia, Nebraska, California and Georgia. Billy Oplinger was the long time manager 1992-2005. Eric Beegle and Mike Pisan are the current managers.
New Jersey A's
The A's are looking forward to their 34th season in 2010 in Windmill Fastpitch Softball.The A's have always been a Windmill team and have played in 4 Windmill Leagues. The team started in 1977 in the Class B/C Florham Park League and played 13 seasons 1977-1989, they moved to the Class A League in Meyersville and played there 1990-1999 The team then joined the Class B/C Summit League 2000-2005 and joined the Class A/B/C NJ/NY Metro League in 2006-2009. They will play in the Bloomfield League in 2010.
The A's have won 23 Titles in 33 seasons,
10 League Pennants, 9 League Playoff Championships, 3 ASA NJ State Class B Windmill Titles and 1 ASA Mid Atlantic Regional Class B Windmill Title. The team has played in 6 National Windmill Tournaments.
ASA Nationals Windmill Fastpitch Tournaments in 1998 Texas(B), 2002 California(C), 2003 Virginia(B),2004 Nebraska(C)2006 Georgia(C)and the NSA World Series in 2007 Maryland.
The team has retired 6 numbers: 45 John Novalis, 12 Jack Strauch, 7 Bruce Smith, 14 Chris Setzer, 23 Kurt Ruppel and 16 Al Pepe.
