May 28, 2007 - 04:00 PM
Congratulations to the Spirit for an outstanding undefeated 4 games on Saturday and Sunday in the Virginian. Monday, the very good VSA Heat Gold proved to be tough and we lost 1-0 in the Finals. Great job ladies! Go Spirit!
2007 Icebreaker Finalists
March 25, 2007
The Spirit finished the 2007 Icebreaker Tournament with 3 wins and 1 loss. Unfortunately, the loss was in the Championship game 1-0 to the LSC Cobras (who we may meet again in The Virginian). The Spirit battled as hard as they could and came out of the tournament with a fine showing and proved that while they have a few things to work on, they are improving and almost ready for the WAGS season to begin in 1 week. Most importantly, the players and their families enjoyed yet another tournament with the greatest U12 girls team on the planet! GO SPIRIT!!!
