Welcome to the Inaugural South Dayton Community Fast Pitch Softball League 2019 Fall Ball Season

The South Dayton Community Fast Pitch Softball League (SDSL) just completed it's 10th Summer Softball Season and is now launching it's inaugural Fall Ball 2019 Season!

The purpose of the South Dayton Community Fast Pitch Softball League (SDSL) is:

A. To provide all girls in our respective communities the opportunity to play softball.
B. To teach basic knowledge of the game of softball and to develop character in the children by teaching them to play together fairly, abide by the rules, and to win and lose like sportsmen.

The following communities have agreed to participate in the South Dayton Community Fast Pitch Softball League and agree to participate and abide by the league bylaws and the SDSL “Official League Rules”:

* Beavercreek Fastpitch Association
* Bellbrook Lion’s Club Girls Softball
* Carlisle Pony League
* Centerville Baseball Softball League
* Fairborn Youth Softball Association
* Jamestown Youth Softball Baseball
* Kettering Amateur Baseball Commission
* Miamisburg Baseball Softball League
* Riverside Amateur Baseball Association
* Springboro-Clearcreek Baseball Association
* Waynesville Baseball Association
* West Carrollton South Dayton Fast Pitch
* Xenia YRC

The SDSL provides inter-community recreation softball leagues of play in each age division offered.  The rules followed are the official rules of USA Softball with exceptions as provided for in the SDSL 2019 Official League Rules.

Each community organization is required and committed to the following process in forming its recreation teams:

  1. Notify and advertise to all families in their respective geographic community jurisdiction regarding the opportunity for all girls meeting the age and residency requirements to sign up and play softball.
  2. Conduct a community-wide open registration process.
  3. Each community will conduct a league approved team formation process with a goal of creating teams of equal talent and avoid forming teams that are superior to other teams from their respective community.

SDSL organization bylaws, official game rules, regular season schedules, league standings, and game score results can be found by clicking on the "Forms" tab and then clicking on the "Handouts" tab of this website.

Good luck to all teams during this inaugural 2019 Fall Ball season. Play Ball!
