"The Show" Is Making Dreams Come True
Millions of kids play the game of baseball every year. Some kids play in their back yard, others play in the school yard, still others play in organized tournaments and leagues at established baseball facilities. No matter where they play, they all share the same dream. Playing for their favorite Major League team. Two outs, bottom of the 9th, bases loaded, and there they stand at the plate. A base hit wins the game. One good swing of the bat and they are a hero. In their dreams they always come through with the big hit. In reality, seldom does the dream come true. As a matter of fact, far less than one percent will ever experience the thrill of even putting on a Major League uniform. That is until today!
"The Show" Future Big Leaguers Tournament Series is changing that fact. At each "Show" Tournament teams will play this great game, in complete Replica uniforms of their favorite Major League team. This is going to be a great experience for all of us Indians.
Sorry about not updating this website in so long. We had an excellent season this year playing in the top division. 9-7 is pretty good but we know we could do much better. Second place isnt too bad considering all the Williamsport games we had to squeeze in this year.
We will get in some tournaments this fall season and do some winter fitness training at Revolution.
We won our first playoff game and we are now in the championship best of three series. Lets finish this season off with a bang this weekend and win a championship.
Indians smoke out the Kings Park Knights
June 26, 2011
Kings Park, NY
Wow! What a fantastic way to start out the 2011 summer season with 2 wins over the Kings Park Knights. Game 1 was a nail biter with the lead going back and forth at first but, ultimately, ending with the Indians 7 to 6 win in extra innings. The bats were alive in this game! Leading the way with 2 hits each were Thomas, Leo, Dennehy, Warshaw and Vaughn, who drove in the game's winning run! There was som strong pitching by Vaughn, with some help from Foley and Mohr. The back up help from the field helped this game turn out as well as it did! Leo was on fire on the mound in the second game with the complete game shutout! The final on this game was 4 -0 Indians. Way to go Eric! Thanks are in order for the strong defensive back up as well. A major shout out goes to Chris Amato with the monster blast two run homer. The ball seemed like it was never going to stop moving! The fans were not disappointed with this day at the ball field. Two spectators were overheard laughing as they recounted the heads up ball playing when Vaughn outwitted the baserunner in a showdown as he left the mound and got the player out at 3rd, with the help of Tim Thomas.... that was a memorable moment!
Next game to be played against LI Inferno White in Commack on Tuesday, 6/28/2011.

Summer Schedule
June 19, 2011
Summer schedules are posted on this site. I am sure we will have changes to be made due to Williamsport and Islip town tournaments. I will update as needed.
I have a meeting about scheduling for our 2011 summer season wednesday June 15th. I will try to get wednesday and sunday games for our boys.
practices
May 27, 2011
We will be starting practice for our 11u team within the next couple of weeks. We are signed up for the NJBL for the summer but I have not gone to a scheduling meeting yet. I will be looking to play on wednesdays and sundays but as we all know that may not be possible. As soon as I get a practice and game schedule together I will post it and email it to you guys.
Sunrise Little League will also be holding an 11u tryout for the Sunrise Williamsport team. Sunrise will be looking to get the best kids at each position with a backup player to play a couple of innings. In Williamsport we only play nine players at a time. Every player has to play two innings so the boys will be judged on speed, base running skills, hitting ability, but above all else, defense. We will not put an infielder in the outfield unless hes a good outfielder and vice versa. I hope you all understand this is NOT an Indians tryout, this tryout is for Sunrise Little League not Coach Leo.
I will however be coaching the Williamsport team and do expect you all to be at tryouts. I will post tryout information as well as email it to all my Indians.
