12U TEAM ILLINI
Welcome to the 12U Team Illini website. Team Illini proves to be one of the most successful youth baseball programs around! We have won numerous Championships throughout the years and have had overwhelming success at every level.
We are looking for players who have the same dreams and aspirations as our past players. We are looking for a player who has a sense of history, and who wants to be a part of a special legacy. You will be playing with great players against players, gaining exposure at all levels. You will have a coaching staff that will work hard to help you reach your maximum potential. It is our mission to develop our players to the next level and higher.
Team Illini focus is on the FUNDAMENTALS of the game – throwing, catching and hitting. Successful application of these fundamentals will enable us to win championships and more importantly, prevent us from having to recruit more highly skilled kids every season. We can work on development of kids. Our screening process is designed to ensure that the most dedicated and talented kids and parents are selected. At that point, our focus will be on getting the most out of each player, so that when we step onto the field we are prepared to play as a winning team. Our kids, knowing that they are fully prepared relax and let their hard work take them from there and just have fun.
