Thanks to Jeff & Connie for hosting a wonderful team event! Everyone had a fantastic time. Thanks to Teresa for organizing as always. Thanks to all the moms who dorn the equipment and played some hard nosed hockey! Additional thanks to all that brought food, drinks, pucks, barrels, laughter, etc.

How many dad's does it take to light a fire? I think I counted 4 participants with 6 supervisors!

Hawks Welcome Navy Vets to MD Hockey
Welcomed them indeed with a 8-0 shallacking! The Hawks had something to prove. Prove to themselves , to their parents and coaches that they will be a force to recon with this season.

It only took 20 seconds into the game for the gritty hard hitting team to land its first bone crushing hit and first of many goals. The Vets did not look like they were expecting such a large and fast opponent. As a result found themselves trying to catch up quickly which caused them to take penalty after penalty.

Keep up the hard work Hawks. Sundays game will be a lot tougher.

Congratulations go out to those who made it through the tough tryouts!

The kids look ready for some action. Speaking of action, their first game is an exhibition game Wednesday September 24th VS the Woodstock Navy Vets. This will be the first time this season we will get to see the entire team playing together. This should be a good test for our team. Good Luck Hawks!
