Texas Elite - Stidd Takes Second Place In Colorado Sparkler
Also has 2 players named to All-American Squad
Texas Elite -Stidd recently participated in the nationally known, week long Colorado Sparkler Tournament and with the help of some great pitching, solid defense, and timely hitting were able to capture 2nd place.
Elite started pool play against teams from Illinois, Colorado, and Montana to get them ready for the bracket games.
In the bracket play, Elite split their first 2 games, sending them into the final day with some confidence. On day 2, Elite won four straight games against teams from New Mexico, Alaska, and Colorado which vaulted them into a championship series with the previously unbeaten Colorado Stars team. Elite dominated and won game 1, but eventually ran out of steam and lost game 2 finishing with a well deserved second.
Parents and coaches were very pleased with the way the team came together and worked hard to end their summer season so successfully and are looking forward to the fall tournament season.
Texas Elite also had six All Stars named to the eight U12 All Star Teams; Rebekah Abair, Kali Bolter, Jess Carter, Kaylee Grant, Brynn Putnam, and Robyn Stidd. From these games Abair and Putnam were named to the U12 All-American teams.

Every member of the Texas Elite family is part of a winning tradition of the Texas Elite Softball Organization.
Each member strives to practice the strong values taught to them through positive leadership, positive effort, positive performance, and positive support.
Our players are determined, hard working, disciplined, and most of all, TEAM PLAYERS, willing to do what it takes to make their own dreams and the dreams of the team as a whole, come true.
The skills that our players are taught, by our coaches, are not just softball skills, they are life skills too.
The coaching staff has the best interest of the team in mind with every decision he or she makes. And even though some decisions may not be agreeable to all, they will still try to do their best for each and every individual player and the team as a whole.
The goal of each team is to be the best they can be, to learn skills, mentally and physically, and to work towards achieving their dreams and becoming outstanding citizens as adults.
