Burtonsville Athletic Association offers Montgomery County, Maryland's best youth baseball, softball and lacrosse programs,
from Instructional through High School Leagues. On our website and the companion BAA Lacrosse websites, you'll find a wealth of information. Before the season begins, we will update this site with game schedules for all teams, including time and location. Come on out and cheer for the players! Information about game results and league standings will be updated throughout the season, so check back often.
BAA extends our thanks to our loyal sponsors, whose support makes it possible for our kids to play competitively
while mastering good sportsmanship and enjoying the company of their friends. Click on the "Sponsors" link for a full listing. Please patronize these businesses and, if you have the opportunity, let them know that we appreciate their support of BAA! If you're interested in becoming a BAA sponsor, please click "Online Forms" to access a Spring 2010 Sponsorship Form.
For a handy information sheet, go to the "Handouts" section and select our "2010 INFORMATION BULLETIN," which provides contact information for league commissioners and other individuals who work diligently behind the scenes to make BAA the envy of recreational baseball, softball and lacrosse programs in the area. Also included in this bulletin is a list of important dates for coaches, players and parents.
Telephone number and email address for league officials can also be found on the "Contact Info" page.
As a volunteer-run organization, BAA can offer you and your high school age children opportunities to perform tasks that directly benefit your community. High schoolers can accumulate state-mandated community service hours by doing behind-the-scenes work including data entry, promotion, sponsorship solicitation and field maintenance. Contact a league official for more information about volunteer opportunities.
Your involvement will help ensure that all of our kids have a great season!
BAA also employs numerous area teenagers as umpires. These are paid positions and do not qualify as volunteer hours. For more information, click on "Umpire Info."
We hope to see you on the ball field soon!
