Try out information for Spring 2010 GAC Hawks select teams
The following information pertains to the tryouts for the Hawks select baseball teams.
9U -
Saturday November 7th @ South Germantown E 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Sunday November 8th @ Kings Crossing Park 12:30pm - 2:30pm
10U -
The U10 Germantown Hawks will be holding tryouts for its Spring 2010 team on November 14 & 15, 1:00-3:00 at Cedar Creek Park in Germantown. This team is registered to play in the coveted Cooperstown Dreamspark National Tournament in Cooperstown, NY in the Summer of 2010. To be eligbile, players must not turn age 11 before May 1, 2010. Contact Head Coach, Lorin Greber (301) 928-5531 with any questions.
11U -
Tryouts will be held on Sunday, 11/1 and 11/8 - 10:00 am at MLK

Tryouts will be held on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 at South Germantown E.
The 12U Hawks will be playing in the Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament in July.

Coaches Opening Day Drive Against Hunger
 On April 18th, Germantown Athletic Club teams helped the children and families in need of assistance through Germantown Help. who serves nearly 1,000 families in Germantown on the "list" that entitles them to food and assistance. This list has grown significantly and resources are severely depleted at this time.
You can make a financial donation (checks can be made out to Germantown Help and are tax deductible) or Giant Food gift cards are also accepted. Non-perishable items needed include breakfast cereals, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, jelly, tuna fish, other canned meats, canned fruits/vegetables/soups, rice and pasta.
A huge thank you to all of the coaches and parents for a very successful food drive! The coaches, children and families that will benefit from your generosity truly appreciate your kindness. A special thanks to Mike Ginsberg for leading the effort.
