Dragons clinch at least a 2nd place in league play with a 22 - 7 win over Amelia
The Dragons have put themselves in position to win a CCKB title by beating the Amelia Cubs 22-7. It was a hit parade, the Dragons put up 22 hits in the victory. Aaron Prescott, Jackson Dunbar and Alex Stephen all pitched well and held the Cubs to only 7 runs. The Dragons now have a shot to win at least a share of the county title with a victory over the Bethel Cougars this coming week.
Dragons win first game in Gold Division
The Dragons came out strong in the second half of the season. Griffin Delilse and Casey Riffle combined for a great pitching performance. This combined with some timely hits by Casey Riffle, Alex Stephen, Max Ernst, Jackson Dunbar, Matthew Laub and Cade Heflin pushed the Dragons to victory on a warm Saturday morning.
Good start to a busy week

NR Dragons edge out the NR Heat
Two great teams battled this evening and great pitching was the rule. Both teams chalked up numerous strikeouts and played well defensively throughout the evening. The Dragons toook advantage of some timely hitting to score just enough runs to take the first league game of the season. Griffin Delisle pitched three great innings with 7 strikeouts and held the heat scoreless. Matthew Laub went 2-3 with 4 RBIs and Casey Riffle went 2-2 with a walk and 1 RBI these two led the offensive attack this evening. Riffle, Stephen, Laub, and Dunbar all had RBIS. Riffle, Stephen, Delisle, Ernst, and Kirschner all scored. Riffle, Laub and Dunbar had hits. Aaron Prescott came in and shut the Heat down for his second big save of the year.
NR Dragons win River City Preseason Tournament

The Dragons came out swinging in the first weekend of the 2009 season. New Richmond fought through wet and cold conditions to capture the first place honors in the 2009 River City Preseason Tourney, the boys collectively outscored their opponents 27 - 11. It was a good start to what will be a great year.
