Titans hand Diesel 2nd loss of season
May 28, 2010
The Ohio Titans again travled to Ellet to take on Team Diesel. Diesel came out fighting hard with new comer Justin Clements at the top of the line-up. Justin went 1-3 with a double and run scored. Devin Dye started on the hill for Diesel and gave 4 strong innings but had to be pulled with a high pitch count. Other contibutors for Diesel were Ryan Gearhart who went 2-3 with an RBI, Pat Havens going 1-3 with a run scored and Matt "Chilli" Davis who got another stolen base. The Titans again were too much for Diesel and capitalized on 5 errors. It was good experience for Diesel and are looking forward to starting the regular season on a good note.
Logistics out last Diesel in 10
June 2, 2010
Diesel was back at Ellet again hosting SCG Logistics. Kyle Chaboudy started on the mound and pitched a beauty of a game, only giving up one run on a solo homerun. Ryan Gearhart came through again with 2 hits and Tommy Hradek had Diesel's only run. Devin Dye came in to relieve Kyle and was on the back end of a bad call by the umpire and ended up takin the loss. Diesel played hard but was plagued by 3 double-plays and not hitting with runners in scoring position. Diesel plays again this Thursday against Portage South at 6:30pm at Kent Roosevelt High School.

May 19, 2008 – 01:00 AM
Team Diesel returns this summer for their third season of existence. After winning a share of the division title last year and finishing 4th in the AA tournament, Diesel returns all 9 starters this season as well as adding some key elements to the puzzle. Returning are 6 All Stars from a year ago: First Team Outfielders Mark Hayhurst and Alan Krontz (Mount Union), Second Team Catcher Clayton Watkins, Second Team Third Basemen Will Brechun (Heidelburg), and Honorable Mention Pitchers Kyle Chaboudy (Kent State) and Tommy Rezack. Diesel also returns First Basemen Jake Albaugh (Ohio Northern) and Will Pantages (Baldwin Wallace), Second Baseman Ryan Gearhart (Mount Union), Shortstop Tommy Hradek (Tri-C), Pitchers Ben Enright (Walsh), Devin Dye (Case Western) and Adam LeBarre, and Outfielder Matt Davis. Diesel looks to continue it’s offensive dominance by adding two contributive players in brothers Chris (middle infield) and Tony (outfield) Meduri from Ravenna. Both are expected to add firepower to a team that hit nearly .300 a year ago. Also new this year is Jackson High School and Walsh University prospect Justin Clements, who looks to add depth to an already stellar outfield. The biggest off-season moves this winter came in the signing of two solid pitchers in Pat Havens from Baldwin Wallace and Brad Potter from Case Western. Both pitched very well for their Colleges this season and look to help improve a rotation that held a plus 5 ERA last season. Diesel also welcomes the return of Pitcher Clay Casamento after a year of absence. Making our home at Ellet High School in Akron, come and check us out as this year promises to be an exciting one for the Diesel organization
