Lady Rockets come to an end of a great season!
The Lady Rockets hosted the Lake Norman Wildcats in the third round of playoffs, but came away with a disappointing loss and a close to an amazing 2012 season, with a score of ACR 0 - Lake Norman 2. Lady Rockets Host Lake Norman in 3rd Round

The Lady Rockets will host the Lake Norman Wildcats in the 3rd Round on Wednesday night at 6:00. Come out and support the girls as they try to keep the season alive!
Lady Rockets Advance; Knock Off Watauga
The Lady Rockets travelled to Boone for a 2nd Round playoff game and came home with a 5-0 win to advance to the sectionals. The team was lead in scoring by Shenny Lenhart with 3 goals and Megan McCallister with 2 goals. Goalkeeper Katie Cavagnini improved on her school record with her 43rd career shutout. The team will host Lake Norman on Wednesday night at 6:00.
ACR 8 - West Mecklenburg 0
First round of the 4A Division play off games for the Lady Rockets kicked off this evening, with the West Mecklenburg Lady Hawks traveling to Dalton Field. ACR came away with a victory, with a shut out of 8 to 0. Shenny Lenhart started off with the goal scoring, and by the end of the game, earned a hat trick for herself, with Megan McCallister scoring 2 goals, and Alicia Wood, Nina Stapleton and Zoe Lewis each with a goal. Shenny Lenhart assisted with 2 goals and Nina Stapleton, Rachel Kennedy, Natalie Bradbury and Makayla Ballenger each assisting a goal.
The Lady Rockets will face the winner of the game between McDowell High School and Watauga High School, who will be playing on Wednesday evening at Watauga High School. This game will be played on Friday, with the location of the game to be determined by the winner of the McDowell/Watauga game. If McDowell wins, ACR will host the game; if Watauga wins, ACR will be traveling to Boone.

SHENNY LENHART TO PLAY IN NC/SC ALL-STAR GAME!
Shenny Lenhart has been selected to play in the NC/SC All-Star Soccer game, the Clash of the Carolinas, on July 7 at Daniels Island, SC. Only 17 girls are selected from North Carolina to play. SENIOR NIGHT - APRIL 30, 2012
ACR 4 - McDowell 2
The Lady Rockets hosted the McDowell Titans in a conference match game Monday night, with the Lady Rockets coming away with a victory in a score of 4 to 2. The evening also proved to be a record setting night, with Senior Forward Shenny Lenhart earning 2 goals, breaking the school's record previously set by her sister Kat, earning her 34th and 35th goal of the season. Megan McCallister and Alicia Wood each scored a goal, with assists by Shenny, Megan and Zoe Lewis. With 27 minutes left in the second half, the officials stopped the game due to weather conditions. The weather never improved, with the officials calling the game at 9 p.m.

We need your help in celebrating these awesome Seniors for all of their dedication, loyalty, sportsmanship, leadership skills and talent displayed on and off the soccer field. ACR Lady Rockets travel to NC coast to compete against Jacksonville HS and Swansboro HS
ACR Lady Rockets traveled to the coast of North Carolina to compete against Jacksonville High School on Friday, April 27 and Swansboro High School on Saturday, April 28, in friendly competition matches. The Lady Rockets came away with a nice win against Jacksonville High School, who is currently ranked 5th in the State in the Class 3-A Division, with a score of 1 - 0. Shenny Lenhart scoring the only goal of the evening.
On Saturday, the Lady Rockets went up against Swansboro High School, who is currently ranked 3rd in the State in the Class 2-A Division. The first half of the game, ACR held their own against Swansboro, with the score at half time 0 to 0. In the second half, the Lady Rockets let up the pressure on Swansboro, allowing them to score 3 goals, with the final score ACR 0 - Swansboro 3.

The Lady Rockets hosted the Enka Sugar Jets and suffered a major loss. It was the first defeat for the Lady Rockets in the conference game season with a score of 1 - 2. Lady Rockets Host North Buncombe; JV Game at Erwin Monday is Cancelled

The Lady Rockets will look to hold onto their share of first place tonight as they get set to host the Blackhawks from North Buncombe. The JV game starts at 5:00 followed by the varsity game at 7:00. UPDATE!! The Erwin JV team has had to fold due to attrition. The game at Erwin on Monday night will now be varsity only and will be played at 6:00.

The JV Lady Rockets arrive at the middle of their game season with an outstanding record overall of 8-2-1 and a conference record of 4-1-1. With the first half of the season plagued by injured players, the JV team never let up in their spirit and drive to overcome the absent players. At Wednesday's JV matchup against the undefeated Roberson Lady Rams, the Lady Rockets shut down the Rams, winning 1 to 0! AWESOME JOB LADIES! KEEP UP THE TEAM WORK!

Lady Rockets showed tonight in their game against Roberson that they were bringing it their all, with a 2-2 Mountain Athletic Conference tie at Dalton Stadium. Since Wednesday was a regular season game, penalty kicks were not used to determine a winner at the conclusion of overtime. After a scoreless first half, Shenny Lenhart came through for the Rockets, scoring the first goal for Reynolds in the second half, with Megan McCallister scoring the second goal with 7 minutes left in the second half. GK Katie Cavagnini played an outstanding game with several beautiful saves on the night. WAY TO WORK AS A TEAM LADIES! GO ROCKETS!

The Lady Rockets defeat the McDowell Lady Titans by a score of 5 to 0. GK Katie Cavagnini earns a shutout, while Shenny Lenhart keeps adding to her goal season total, scoring 2 goals, with Morgan Barr assisting both of her goals. Rachel Kennedy and Celesta Edge each score 1 goal, with Natalie Bradbury scoring on an excellent header. Megan McCallister, Shenny Lenhart and Morgan Barr assisted the last 3 goals of the game. The Lady Rockets will enjoy their Spring Break with a conference record of 5-0-0, and will come back in preparation for squaring off with TC Roberson at home on Wednesday, April 11. For the first time this season, the Lady Rockets were down 1 to 2 at half time against the Sugar Jets, with Shenny Lenhart assisting Megan McCallister's only goal for Reynolds in the first half. BUT, the Lady Rockets came back with a vengeance in the second half, with Shenny Lenhart - in her first appearance in a conference game since her injury - earning her 7th hat trick of the season, with Megan McCallister scoring another goal. Assisting with the goals were Nina Stapleton (2), Megan Cavagnini, Shenny Lenhart and Megan McCallister. GK Katie Cavagnini secured 4 saves. WHAT A COMEBACK LADIES!
Lady Rockets Return From The Brittany
The Lady Rockets faced their stiffest competition of the season in an outstanding tournament experience in Wilson, NC over the weekend. The Brittany Tournament is recognized as the state's finest event for high school soccer. On Friday night, the Lady Rockets faced perennial power Raleigh Broughton and came away with a close 2-1 loss. Shenny Lenhart scored the goal with an assist from Nina Stapleton. On Saturday morning, the Lady Rockets gave up a goal and scored a goal in the first minute of the game against Wilson Hunt. Again, it was Shenny Lenhart from Nina Stapleton and the game entered halftime tied at 1-1. In the 2nd half, Celesta Edge took a pass from Shenny and gave the Lady Rockets a 2-1 lead that would hold until there were 20 seconds left in the game. Hunt scored a late game-tying goal to make the final 2-2.

The Lady Rockets came away with a big victory at home over Asheville High, with a final score of 2 to 1. The first half remained scoreless, with Asheville striking first in the second half -- but Nicole Bradbury landed the Rockets' first goal of the game, fueling ACR to keep the pressure on. It finally paid off, with only 1 minute left to play, standout Freshman Forward MEGAN McCALLISTER found the back of the net with the game winning goal! The win moves the Lady Rockets to 9-0-1 overall and 3-0-0 in conference play. AWESOME PLAYING AND TEAMWORK LADIES!

Breona Tate and Sydney Maddox each contribute 2 goals and Natalie Bradbury with 1 goal. Coming in with the assists were Megan McCallister, Makayla Ballenger, Sydney Maddox with 2 assists, GK Rachel Burnette, Breona Tate and Nicole Bradbury. Freshman forward Megan McCallister earns her first hat trick of the season, with Shenny Lenhart and Nina Stapleton each scoring a goal. After a victory against Watauga High School, Coach Patrick Gladys earned his 200th win with the Lady Rockets. The team presented him with a plaque and cake after their 6th straight win of the season. WHAT AN OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENT COACH GLADYS!

Wilson Hood Makes Professional Debut!

Congratulations to former Reynolds Soccer standout Wilson Hood, who made his professional debut today for the Atlanta Silverbacks in a 2-0 win. Wilson was an All-South performer for the Rockets in 2006. CONGRATULATIONS WILSON!

The AC Reynolds Rockets are a 4A team playing in the Mountain Athletic Conference. The Rockets home stadium, RL Dalton Stadium, is one of the most beautiful settings in the state- surrounded by mountains and steep cedar cliffs. The home field setting is enhanced by the great fan support the team regularly receives at their games. The Rockets and Lady Rockets have combined to win 9 conference championships, most recently in 2011 as the Lady Rockets captured the outright MAC crown with a 3-2 win at TC Roberson on the last game of regular season. GO ROCKETS!!!
