Acworth Baseball's 2010 Spring Season will be here before you know it!! Online registration opens December 1st. LIVE! Registration will be held on Saturday, Jan. 9th and 16th, from 10AM-Noon at the Acworth Beach House. Please check this website for the link that will be posted on that date. MANDATORY Coaches Clinic for 2010 Spring Season

MANDATORY Coaches Clinic will be held Saturday, January 23rd, beginning at 10AM at the Acworth Youth Sports Warehouse. Managers will have to attend this clinic to manage a team at Acworth Baseball. More information will be posted as soon as possible.
Concession Bid Open 11/21/09 thru 12/05/09

Bidding for the Acworth Baseball Association Concession Stand operation will be open Saturday, November 21st, thru Saturday, December 5th. Bids can be sent to President Randy Southard by email or by mail to Acworth Baseball Association, P. O. Box 432, Acworth, GA 30101 and must be postmarked by December 5th.
SHETLAND RAPTORS WIN CHAMPIONSHIP!!
PINTO SIDEWINDERS WIN CHAMPIONSHIP!!
Congratulations to the Pinto Sidewinders for going undefeated in the tournament to secure the 2009 Fall Pinto Championship. Led by Patrick McPhee, the Sidewinders finished 15-1 on the season. Congratulations also go out to the Rivercats and Coach Rick Rhadans for battling thru the Loser’s bracket and making it to the championship game.
PINTO RIVERCATS PLACE 2ND!!!
THUNDER WINS MUSTANG CHAMPIONSHIP!
The Mustang Thunder battled the Mustang Bulls and won the championship 4-2 Tuesday night! The Thunder, led by head coach Tim Terrill, ran the table in the top bracket to win the title. The Bulls, led by head coach Rich Tempelman, made a valiant run and claimed 2nd place.
Congratulations to the Thunder on a great tournament and thanks to all the Mustang players, coaches, families and friend on another super season - in spite of a few showers!
BRONCO THUNDER TAKES THE TITLE
The Bronco Thunder claimed the championship Wednesday night in a hard-fought battle against the Sidewinders. A key hit in the bottom of the 5th inning turned out to be the difference in a very tight, well-played game. Congratulations to both teams for a fantastic season and a great tournament!
SENIOR EXPRESS WINS CHAMPIONSHIP
The Senior Express claimed the championship Wednesday night by winning two games against the Lugnuts. Congratulations to both teams for a great season, and a well-played tournament!
ACWORTH BLUE WINS 15-18YO CHAMPIONSHIP!

This proposal affects Colt, Shetland, and Pinto Divisions and would allow a manager to lock 2 assistant coaches and their players prior to draft. It would also limit trades to only 1 trade. Shane Dukes has presented this proposed by law amendment. This will be voted on at the Acworth Baseball Association General Board Meeting held on Sunday, 1/17, at 5:30PM at Robert's School.

It would also include skills testing prior to draft and change the current draft process for Coach Pitch Divisions. Greg Scott has presented this proposed by law amendment. This will be voted on at the Acworth Baseball Association General Board Meeting held on Sunday, 1/17, at 5:30PM at Robert's School.

CONSTRUCTION AT MAIN ST. AND NANCE RD. INTERSECTION!!
Please be aware that there will be construction on the Main Street (Old Hwy 41) and Nance Road intersection during our entire 2009 Fall Season. They will be widening the road and adding a turning lane. In addition to the planned construction there was also damage to the Nance Road Bridge. At times there will be more than the usual traffic congestion getting thru this intersection.
RESERVED PARKING
Please do not park in the RESERVED parking spaces. Our concession workers use these spaces so they don’t have to haul concession products across the parking lot with a hand truck. We appreciate your patronage at the concession stand but please don't make our jobs harder. Please, do not park in the RESERVED parking spaces.
FIELD CLOSURE RESTRICTION
When the fields are closed this includes the outfields. DO NOT PLAN ON PRACTICING ON ANY PART OF THE FIELD WHEN CLOSED. Batting cages are open at all times on a first come/first serve basis. Thanks for your cooperation!
