FAMILY FUN NIGHT AND OPENING DAY ACTIVITIES!!!

Family Fun night is a great opportunity to come the ball park with your entire family and have a great time! Currently here are some of the activities that will be offered for free: Inflatables, Pitch/Hit/Run Contest (APRD), Rome Braves Mascot Appearance (Opening Day Only), Wachovia table, etc. There will also be some fundraising activities available during Family Fun Night and Opening Day: tattoos FFN/OD, crazy hair beads FFN/OD, face painting FFN/OD, funnel cakes FFN(10U Travel), funnel cakes OD(Mustang Indians), smoothies/Baskin Robbins FFN/OD(12U Travel), etc. We will continue to post additional activities as they become available.

Scott Pearson has proposed a By Law Amendment that changes the verbiage from "Section 3 - Coaching Prerequisite k. Attend all regular monthly general membership meetings. Penalty: If three or more consecutive meetings are missed, coaching privileges will be taken away." to "k. All managers are strongly encouraged to attend all regular monthly general membership meetings." This will be discussed and voted on at the General Board Meeting Sunday, 2/21, 5:30PM at Roberts School.

Bronco By Law Amendment Proposal

Please see the actual proposed amendment under HANDOUTS. This proposal affects Colt, Shetland, and Pinto Divisions and would allow a manager to lock 2 assistant coaches and their players prior to draft. It would also limit trades to only 1 trade. Shane Dukes has presented this proposed by law amendment. This will be voted on at the Acworth Baseball Association General Board Meeting held on Sunday, 1/17, at 5:30PM at Robert's School.
TABLED UNTIL 3/21- BY LAW AMENDMENT PROPOSAL AFFECTS COACH PITCH DIVISIONS
PROPOSED BY LAW AMENDMENT
Please see the actual proposed amendment under HANDOUTS. This proposal affects Coach Pitch Divisions and would create a Competitive and Non-Competitive League within each division. It would also include skills testing prior to draft and change the current draft process for Coach Pitch Divisions. Greg Scott has presented this proposed by law amendment. This will be voted on at the Acworth Baseball Association General Board Meeting held on Sunday, 3/21, at 5:30PM at Robert's School.
CONSTRUCTION AT MAIN ST. AND NANCE RD. INTERSECTION!!
Please be aware that there will be construction on the Main Street (Old Hwy 41) and Nance Road intersection. They will be widening the road and adding a turning lane. In addition to the planned construction there was also damage to the Nance Road Bridge. At times there will be more than the usual traffic congestion getting thru this intersection.
RESERVED PARKING
Please do not park in the RESERVED parking spaces. Our concession workers use these spaces so they don’t have to haul concession products across the parking lot with a hand truck. We appreciate your patronage at the concession stand but please don't make our jobs harder. Please, do not park in the RESERVED parking spaces.
FIELD CLOSURE RESTRICTION
When the fields are closed this includes the outfields. DO NOT PLAN ON PRACTICING ON ANY PART OF THE FIELD WHEN CLOSED. Batting cages are open at all times on a first come/first serve basis. Thanks for your cooperation!
