The AEFL was blessed with another great championship game on Sunday. The Vipers struck first and started with a 16-0 lead. Then the Hawks got on the board with a punt return. But on the very next play the Vipers ran back a kickoff to end the half 24-8. The Hawks were in a position they had never been in before at half time. The second half belong to the Hawks who scored 16 unanswered points and the game remained tied until about 35 seconds left in the game when the Hawks scored on halfback pass thrown by the games MVP, Hawks #8 Zach Howard. Final score HAWKS 32 - VIPERS 24!
