Congratulations to senior captain Savanah Webster who has signed to play college ball next year at Salt Lake Community College AND senior Amanda Jones who has signed to play ball next year at Western Nebraska Community College!

Tryout information.
Tryouts for the 2010 Varsity and JV softball teams will be held on Friday, February 26th after school and Saturday, February 27th from 9 a.m. to noon. All pitchers and catchers must report to the field on Saturday at 8 a.m. ready to go. We will be trying out pitchers/catchers prior to remainder of day. You will then join the rest of the group.
Student-athletes will be notified of their status following tryouts and those making a team should be ready to practice on Monday after school.
Please bring the following items with you to tryouts on Friday after school and meet at the Track at PROMPTLY 1:45 p.m. You will be running a timed mile. Nobody leaves til everybody finishes.

Grade check (see handout section of website) with grades as of Feb 26th
Water
Goal:
Varsity: 8:30 minutes
JV: 9:00 minutes
Points will be distributed based on your finish time.
Please bring the following items with you to tryouts on Saturday and wear proper attire:
Glove
Bat
Cleats
Catchers equipment (if a catcher)

2nd Annual Carol Sarles Kids Clinic is a SUCCESS!
The 2nd Annual Kids Clinic was an overwhelming success! The clinic has been officially named the "Carol Sarles Kids Clinic" hosted by Arbor View High School. Aggie Alumni Chelsea Venable was the mastermind behind the annual clinic and did it to honor her late grandmother. Chelsea's commitment to her family, softball and Arbor View are unmatched and we are honored to keep this portion of her legacy going for years to come!
A huge thank you to Coach Julia Meyn, Coach Al Ramirez, Coach John Lemos and Coach David Fry for donating your professional skills and making the clinic a success!
