Mother Hubbard's Cupboard
August 10, 2011 —
The Ashley Soccer Family along with some help from the entire Ashley family collected "can goods" for Mother Hubbard's Cupboard. They collected enough food to fill the back of Coach Roberts' truck. Beside collecting the food, the young men took time out of their busy schedules of practicing, going to the beach, more practicing, and more practicing to volunteer their time at MHC. They spent about an hour and a half working on their upper body strength by unloading the monthly delivery truck from Raleigh. The guys had a great time and were able to feel good about helping others. This will not be our last trip to MHC!

The dogs, cats and staff of the Humane Society would like to thank Austin Davis, Grayson Smith, Aries Mendoza, Uriel Castelan-Moreno, Parker Rackley, Justin Savinon, Hunter Glasgow, Connor Snow, Trey Morton, Michael Hayes, Cam Simmons, & Coach James Rackley for all the work they put in. You guys have the place looking so much better.
A group also did some work aound the Good Sheppard House.
