Allamuchy Juniors play outstanding softball on the way to winning the 3rd annual WCGSA Junior Tournament.
The Allamuchy Juniors finished off their quest for gold, winning the WCGSA Softball Tourney Final with a hard fought 7-4 win over Washington Township. Playing 4 games in rapid succession, the future of Allamuchy Softball swung the bats, made the catches, and dominated on the mound on the way to outscoring the competition by a 24-10 count.

In the opening game, the girls battled hard to win 3-0 . They hung together to frustrate the tough and larger Washington Boro hitters.
In the second game of the opening round, the Juniors stormed back from a 3-2 deficit versus Mansfield, scoring 5 runs in the bottom of the last inning to reach the Championship Bracket!
The real fun started in the semi-finals. The Allamuchy Juniors revenged an earlier loss to Hope, winning 7-3 to reach the Final. Staying focused was the key, as Hope quickly erased a 4-0 deficit to come back to within 4-3. Allamuchy stormed right back, scoring 3 runs in the 2nd inning to get back their 4 run lead and coast to victory.
The 2nd seeded Juniors then were matched against the top seeded team from Washington Township. The game was never really in doubt, as they built a 7-1 early lead. The girls constantly yelled cheers and support, and were a pleasure to coach. This was a total team effort, and a memory to last forever!
