2009 Season
The Altus AFB Outlaws’ baseball club is looking for interested baseball players for its upcoming 2009 season. Last year’s team traveled to Tinker AFB to play the Rangers and took part in the 2008 AF BASH Tournament hosted by the Luke AFB Falcons. This year the Outlaws will participate in the Wichita Fall’s Men’s baseball league and will likely host games with Tinker AFB and Lackland AFB. The season will culminate with the Altus AFB Outlaws’ hosting the 2009 AF Tournament in August.
Air Force Varsity Baseball
Along with other Air Force Base varsity baseball teams (Andrews AFB, Davis Monthan AFB, Elmendorf AFB, Lackland AFB, Luke AFB, Nellis AFB, Hill AFB, Hickam AFB AFB, Tinker AFB, Vance AFB) our goal is to make baseball an official Varsity Sport for the Air Force. Furthermore, participation in the team allows better players to train for an official Air Force Varsity program and ultimately develop a semi-pro team just as the Navy.
Wanna Play Against Us?
If you would like to play us in an exhibition game please feel free to contact us. The Outlaws love to play ball and can make arrangements to play in Altus or travel to your town. We are willing to split cost for umpires fees.
