Mt. Airy Post 191 American Legion Baseball
The Mt. Airy Gold Star Post 191 American Legion Baseball team met this past Sunday to hold their annual post-season family picnic and awards ceremony for 2023 summer season.
The young squad was recognized by the coaching staff for their resiliency in fighting through a tough season competing in the Senior Legion division.
Awards for Defensive Player, Pitcher, and Offensive Player of the Year, in addition to the overall Most Valuable Player were voted on by the team and presented by the coaching staff at the event. (see below).
