2012 Spring 7v7 Football
The Arlington Recreation dept in conjunction with Arlington Pop Warner and AHS football is offering a 7v7 football program this spring. This program will take the place of the traditional 5 v 5 flag football program for this season. this is a passing clinic designed to teach players proper routerunning/route adjustments vs coverage and proper quarterback techniques. Each player will receive a T shirt/shorts, mouth piece and playbook. They will be provided a helmet which will be returned after the season is over. Instruction provided by APW and AHS coaching staff and AHS football players.
Grades 1-8; Dates: 4/27 - 6/1; Fridays 3:30 - 5:00pm; Cost: $80.00 for 6 weeks
Spring Cheer Clinic -
Attention anyone ages 5 through 15 interested in cheerleading! Arlington Pop Warner in conjunction with AHS cheer and the Arlington Recreation Dept is holding a Pre-Season Cheer Clinic to begin conditioning and training for the new season! In this clinic, we will be teaching reviewing cheerleading basics, starting with conditioning and preparing the participants for this very physical sport. We will have training on proper cheer techniques, jumping techniques and stunting techniques, and we will be teaching the participants some APW Cheers. Shorts and T-shirts will be provided.
