Equipment/Uniform Return Date
Football and cheerleading uniforms and equipment are to be returned this Saturday, November 14, at the Armory according to the following schedule:
B Team: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
A Team: 11:00 a.m. - Noon
C Team: Noon - 1:00 p.m.
D1 Team: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
D2 Team: 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Joanie be at the Armory from 10:00 a.m. - Noon with pre-ordered Exhibition T-Shirts for Flag, C Team and Mitey Mite Cheerleaders. Please remember that the T-Shirts cost $10.00 each.
Banquet tickets will also be available.
2009 Banquet - December 19th
In response to many requests for a dinner style banquet, our 2009 Banquet will be held on Saturday, December 19th, at the Moose Cabin on O'Neill Boulevard in Attleboro. Pizza and wings will be served and all participants will receive his/her trophy. Participants are free of charge. Guests, including siblings, must pre-purchase a ticket for $10.00 each. The banquet schedule is as follows:
Mitey Mites & Flag Teams (FB and Cheer) - 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
D1, D2 & C Teams (FB and Cheer) - 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
A & B Teams (FB and Cheer) - 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

General Membership Meetings
The next General Membership meeting will be held on Monday, December 7, at 7:00 p.m.
Nominations for positions on the 2010 APW Board of Directors were accepted at the November 2 General Membership meeting. Nominations will also be accepted at the December 7 General Membership Meeting and then voting will take place. If you are nominated for a position, you must be present to accept the nomination. You must also be present to cast your vote.
To accept a nomination and then hold a position on the 2010 Board of Directors, you must attend both the November and December General Membership meetings. Also, to have voting rights this year, you must attend both the November and December General Membership meetings.
Please contact any present Board Member for additional information regarding board members' responsibilities.
Monthly General Membership Meetings are held the first Monday of every month and usually last no more than an hour. Come on down to the Armory (downstairs classroom)!!!

Please note that Board meetings are closed to the general membership and that only the Board of Directors may attend. Please contact a Board member if there is an idea or subject you would like to be submitted for consideration/discussion.
Rebeckha Lynn Whitefield Foundation
Attleboro Pop Warner would like to thank the Rebeckha Lynn Whitefield Foundation for its generous donation to our League. The donation will be used to help provide registration scholarships to football players and cheerleaders who, due to financial circumstances, otherwise might not be able to participate in the upcoming season. We know that Becky would have been happy to help us achieve our goal of giving as many kids as possible a chance to play.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
Attleboro Pop Warner is proud to announce that effective January 1, 2009, our Board reorganized. We have several new members with ample experience on other youth-affiliated Boards within Attleboro. During the transition, the current Board of Directors performed an audit of previous financial practices and discovered there were questionable transactions. We reviewed our finances with the Hockomock League, considered their input, and voted to turn the records over to the proper authorities for further investigation.
The current Board is made up of volunteers that share a common goal: We want to have a safe, fun, successful 2009 season. We wish to quell any uncertainties the public may have by assuring that proper checks and balances have been implemented by our new Board to prevent similar instances in the future. We hope that the press and the public will allow the authorities to process this matter appropriately and allow the Board to focus on planning and preparing for the 2009 football and cheerleading season.
