Aurora Stingers Women
The Aurora Stingers Women's Competitive Team is ready to start it's second year with the Aurora Youth Soccer Club.
The coaches are currently looking for a few more players that are highly skilled dedicated players that enjoy the game of soccer to round out either teams. For the 2012 outdoor season there will be two outdoor competitive teams. OWSL Regional and YRSL Elite.
Team selection is happening now so it's important that you attend the outdoor sessions along with getting your registration forms and payments and player books into the team manager.

The player registration forms for this year can be found in the Handout section of the team website along with the sponsorship letter.
The OWSL and the YRSL games schedules have now been updated to the team website. You can also access the league websites by going directly to www.yrsl.ca and www.owslsoccer.com

Sponsorship Needed
For the 2012, the Aurora Stingers Women's Competitive Program will be having two teams, an OWSL Regional Team and a YRSL Elite Team.
The team is looking for sponsors for the 2012 outdoor season to help offset team costs such as league fees, referee fees, medical supplies and other team related expenditures.

2012 YRSL Ben Steenhorst Cup
The 2012 YRSL Ben STeenhorst Cup will be having it's quarter final games on Sunday July 8th. Time, location and our opponents have to be decided on. Will report on the information once it's been provided to us.
Please ensure that you have the day off since the game is normally during the day.
YRSL Ben Steenhorst Cup
Summer 2011 was the inaugural year for the AYSC's senior women's team. In it first season, the ladies have gone on to surpass all expectations. The coaching staff set out its expectations to the players and they were met and it seems they were met with ease.
The ladies sit atop their league with just a handful of games left to play and 1st place all but clinched. Well done Ladies!! There was strong play from may of the women this summer and they certainly put themselves in a class of their own.
The Ladies also took part in the YRSL Cup, also known as the Steenhorst Cup. They met Whitchurch Stouffville Mustangs in the finals and comfortably won the match be a significant margin. The women of the AYSC lifted the trophy, hopfully the first of many more to come.
Remember, they still have the league trophy to lift come season end.
Congratulations to all members of the senior women's team on a job well done!
Aurora Stingers Women- YRSL ELITE CHAMPIONS
The Aurora Stingers Women's team in it's first year as a team for the AYSC has captured the YRSL Elite Division for the 2011 Season.
The team had a record of 16 wins, 1 loss for the entire season with 65 goals for and 17 goals against.
Congrats to all of the players on the team and to the coaching staff for a great season.
