If you are looking for somewhere for your Child to learn about football or cheerleading you have come to the right place. Over the past several years Acworth has demonstrated that we are the premiere Youth Football & Cheerleading Association in Cobb County, Paulding County, Bartow County, Cherokee County & Douglas County winning 8 out of a possible 13 Super Bowl Championships, and numerous 1st, 2nd & 3rd place showings in Cheer competitions.

 We look forward to continued success in 2013. If you were a member of the Warrior Family in 2012 we certainly hope you will be back. If you are looking for a place for your child to play football or cheer in 2013 we invite you to join the Warrior Family.

 At Acworth we have learned that all children have the ability to succeed no matter what their age when they work hard as a team. Our #1 goal is for kids to learn that through hard work and commitment nothing is impossible. We want them to have fun in what they are doing and to understand the game of football or concepts of cheer. And of course, we hope that through their hard work they will feel the accomplishment of winning games and competitions as a team.

FREE CONDITIONING CAMP 

The Acworth Warriors are once again proud to sponsor a FREE Conditioning Camp open to any child ages 4-12 who would like to get football ready. The Camp is held every Wednesday until July 17 at the Acworth Sports Complex from 6:30pm - 8pm. Kids should wear shorts, Tee Shirt and cleats if they have them. They should also bring their own water.

The camp is voluntary and open to all. It is a great way for kids to learn some basics and get an idea if they like Football. This is a non-contact camp.

NWGYFL Weight Limits Lifted

The NWGYFL has removed weight limits to play football in 2013. There is still a weight restriction to run or advance the football, but with the lifting of the limit, more youth wil be able to participate in a confidence building environment that encourages excersice and dedication in a succesful team building environmnet.

Congratulations to the following coaches who were elected at the Board meeting on Sunday, April 21.  Our sucess is heavily dependent upon the quality of the volunteers in organization, we are thankful for each of these coaches who have stepped up to give of their time and talents to the young men and women we serve.  We are still looking to fill slots at the five year old Division Two and six year old Division Two age groups.

2 ACWORTH COACHES - NWGYFL COACHES OF THE YEAR

We are very proud of all our coaches at Acworth. They all give their time and talents to the kids. This year 2 of our Head Coaches received special recognition from the North West Georgia Youth Football League when they were given the Division 1 and Division 2 Coach of the Year Award.
