USSSA The Phoenix Open 16U Tournament

We made it to the semi-finals. Let's make a conscious effort to work extra hard this month so we're well prepared for the Las Vegas tournament in March.

Hotshots-hosted Friendly

Thank you to all the teams that came out for our friendly, especially the two that came all the way from Utah - the Surge and the Hotshots. It was a huge success, and we hope to see everyone back at our next friendly, tentatively scheduled for March.

TCS Holiday Toy-nament 14A-16B CHAMPIONS
December 11, 2011 —
What a way to end the year, with a tournament record of 6-0, outscoring our opponents 51-6. The girls battled in the championship game with a come-from-behind win in the 7th inning.
USSSA Rip It 16U Tournament
December 3, 2011 —
With a record of 3-2 and a top 8 finish, it was good to see the girls' bats come alive. The team's overall batting average was .419. Let's keep the momentum going for this upcoming weekend's tournament.
TCS Fro Show 14U Elite Invitational
November 12, 2011 —
We were able to get three games in on Saturday, competing hard to a record of 2-1. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and Sunday's games got rained out.
TCS Monster Mash in San Diego
October 15, 2011 —
Hotshots attended the Monster Mash in San Diego and earned a 3rd place ranking out of over 40 teams. Great job girls!
Storm Friendly Tournament

Congratulations on a great friendly, Hotshots. We won 3 and tied 1, outscoring opponents 35 to 3. It was a great show of hitting.
The mission of the AZ Hotshots 98 14U team is to teach the girls the fundamentals of the game along with life skills they will carry with them throughout their lives. We believe in creating a family atmosphere for not only these young ladies but for the parents as well. We will teach the girls to win with class and lose with class.
We look forward to the upcoming season. We as coaches believe we have a great group of young ladies that will have a great year. The ultimate goal is for them to get better, learn the game and have fun.
