The Bakersfield Heat is an official Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) organization, is insured through AAU, and participates in AAU sanctioned tournaments.

The High School/17U Heat team took 1st Place at the Top Gun Tournament in Hanford, CA in their very first tournament together!
