Afghan Premier League Champion 2010

Congrad to Afghan Premier FC for winning the first ever BAPSL (2010) and Hayward Chelsea FC for taking the second place.
BAPSL also thanks all the participant teams that played this season with us. We also send our appreciation to all the Refs for their help and specially Alex (Ref Coordinator). Over all, the league was a success with few obstacles and issues which we will address in our meeting and we will correct them for the next season. The League is open to any new ideas and suggestions from coaches and managers, please email your thoughts and concerns to m_mojaddedi@yahoo.com. Again, thank you all for participating in our first ever BAPSL season and we would like invite all the teams for another challenging season next year.
PLAYOFFS:
There will be playoffs for the top four teams, which whill occure towerds med or end of June. The schedule for the playoffs will be posted in the first or second of week of June.

Playoffs dates are not set yet, mostlikely it will appear the first or second week of June. However, we will honor the 2010 league champion and 2nd place on the Final weekend of the regular season.

03/29/2010 Fast, exciting and young Hayward Chelsea hold the seasoned Stompers Fc to a 1-1 tie. Stompers player manager William Forte put on his gloves and made critical saves to keep the game at level. Afghan Premier proved too strong for Itifaq who failed to repeat last weeks performance. The rivalry continues and this season has Afghan Premier taking a strong lead. The final game showed glimpses of the potential of Livermore Fc but the strong counter attacks of BayArea Alliance was too much to handle. Then final score was 4-2. With that win, BayArea Alliance takes the leaders spot.
Itifaq stage upset of the day
March 21, 2010 —
03/21/201010 Hayward,Ca. Itifaq causes the upset of the day defeating Alliance 2-1. The Tracy outfit is stamping its mark as the giant killers and continue a run for top standing. However, the game of the day was between the Stompers and Afghan Premier. The Afghans staged a strong comeback in the action packed game to draw 5 all. Stompers resorted to tactical delays to maintain the lead, a strategy, which seem to have back fired when the Afghans scored in the final minute to tie the game. In other game, a 10 men Fiji Flying Fc could not contain the young and fast Hayward Chelsea going down 5-1.
Week 3 Updates: Itifaq record first win
March 14, 2010 —
Week 3: Itifaq Fc of Tracy pull off their first victory over highly rated Recnball Stompers of Hayward. The final score was a convincing 3-nil over Stompers. However, the Stompers still shared the lead with the BayArea Alliance Fc. The fit Alliance overcame a strong first half challenge by the Flying Fc to a runaway finish in the 2nd half. The Fiji Flyers held the Alliance 1-1 but match fitness proved the winner for the Alliance. Livermore Fc surprised a 10 men Afghan Premier Fc of Fremont to a 1-1 draw. The week 4 games will showcase the pool leader. All fans are welcome, Sunday parking is FREE
Week 3 Postponed due to rain

The games have been postponed due to rain. This week the game was scheduled for the grass field and due to the weather conditions, the games will be rescheduled to next Saturday 03/13/10 on the main field.

Hayward, Ca. Afghan Premier FC makes a winning debut but it was a hard fought victory. Hayward Chelsea Fc. Hayward Fc looked dangerous throughout the game especially in the first half and is an exciting upcoming team. In other matches, the Flying Fijians took the right flight this Sunday with a surprising victory of Itifaq FC of Tracy. Itifaq was denied numerous scoring opportunities by the MVP of the game Sergio Valle. Sergio is coincidently the goalkeeper for the semi-pro team, the Bay Area Ambassadors Fc. The Fiji Flying Fc will need more depth to keep the momentum. The final day saw Recnball take a commanding lead to the top of the league table with 3 nil victory over Livermore Fc.
BAPSL Cup Champs Afghan Premier make league debut

Hayward, Ca. BayArea Premier Cup champions Afghan Premier make their league debut this Sunday, against a young but upcoming Hayward Chelsea FC. The Hayward outfit gave the BayArea Alliance a headache previous Sunday taking an early lead the first half. However, match fitness proved a winner for the BayArea Alliance FC. The Hayward Chelsea outfit is a force to be reckon with as the season develops. Other interesting matches see Livermore FC will taking on the Stompers and the Flying Fijians who make the Fiji Flying FC take on the formidable Itifaq FC. Itifaq made an impressive comeback to draw 1-1 with Livermore FC last Sunday in the leagues opening round. All games for the 2010 Winter BayArea Premier League are at Chabot College. Fiji Flying FC vs Stompers FC-BAPSL opener

The schedule for the BayArea Premier Soccer League has been set for an exciting kick off this Sunday Febuary 21st, 2010. New entrant Fiji Flying FC takes on Recnball Stompers who also featured strongly in the Bay Area Premier Cup. Fiji Flying Fc manager Marum Khalik is looking to introduce a strong lineup in its inaugural outing. He will be using his Brazilian connection to add some samba to his team. Recball Stompers manager, William Forte is very enthusiastic about the league having been not too happy with the Hayward Pepsi league and traveling out of the area to the SF Premier League. “ This is a great opportunity to involve my team in the BayArea Premier League in a centralized location,” quoted Mr. Forte. Other teams participating are Tracy Itifaq FC , a team which showed great promise at the Premier Cup and have a excellent development program headed by Mr. Atta with over 200 Afgan kids enrolled. The last game is with the Premier cup finalist Bay Area Alliance Fc and the youthful team of Hayward Chelsea Blues who also had a good outing at the BayArea Premier Cup. BAPSL kicks off

Hayward, Ca. The Bay Area Premier soccer league is scheduled to kick off on February 21st, 2010. The league concluded a successful first mangers meeting with strong positive feedback. The league which has been in the making for over a year is starting with seven top teams. It will also serve as a farm team for the semi-pro team, the Bay Area Ambassadors FC. The deadline for the team roster and individual player passes is February 16th, 5pm. All forms are available online, under League Forms.
2010 BayArea Premier Soccer League (BAPSL) kicks off

The much awaited BayArea Premier Soccer League (BAPSL) kicks off with six top teams starting Febuary 14th, 2010. The inaugural league will start off the winter/Spring league with plans for an expansion in the summer. The winners of the league will be crowned as the inaugural champions of the Premier league. However, the top four will have chance to prove themselves as they move into the Ambassadors Cup. Its about time we have a Premier soccer league based out of the East Bay, quoted an enthusiastic Musa Mojadeddi, the coach for Afghan Premier who won the inaugural BayArea Premier Cup.The Afghans fielded a strong lineup to win the Cup in 2009 but will have stiff competition from the likes of the Stompers of Hayward. The East Bay has quality players but need a quality league. With the Bay Area Ambassadors as an outlet for the players to play semi-pro soccer in the NPSL, the players finally have the structure and something to look forward to. Earlier in the MLS draft, Andrew Wiedeman of Cal who plied his trade in the Western Conference division of NPSL last year got drafted as a second round pick with FC Dallas. The managers meeting is scheduled for February 6th 12pm at 26226 Industrial Blvd, Hayward, Ca 94545. The deadline for registration is Feb 2nd. The league fees are $800 which gives teams a total of 10 games and an additional two if they qualify for the Ambassadors Cup. Interested teams may email: arif@baambassadors.com.

BAYAREA PREMIER SOCCER LEAGUE (BAPSL)
With a commitment to the community and developing and maintaining soccer at the highest amateur level, we are pleased to announce the BayArea Premier Soccer League Series. This is an opportunity for players to develop their soccer and take it to the next level. The league will kick run from February to May 2010. We are inviting the top 10 teams. Each team will have a minimum of 2 games with each team, home and away series. The top 4 teams will qualify for playoffs with the top two, playing for Ambassadors Cup final. All games will be at Chabot College on Sunday, starting at 8.30am. Registration verification of all players will be done prior to the start of the games. Kick off will be at 9.00am sharp. The 1st two team playing will have the responsibility of setting up the nets and the last two will have the responsibility of clean up and bring down nets. All teams will have an equal privilege and duties will rotate.
Registration: Team registration is $950 ( reduced to $800 for 2010 season) and $10 per player registration for a maximum of 22 players (Deadline; 01/16/2010 Due before start of the season) Bond: $150. (This is due immediately to confirm team spot.) Each player will provide a copy of drivers license with 2 photos for id.

Afghan Premier Fc ,2009 Bay Area Premier Cup Champions

12/20/2009 Hayward, Ca. The BayArea Premier Cup finals turned out to be a goal-scoring thriller. Afghan Premier Fc took the lead early in the first half. Undeterred, BayArea Alliance without the services of their two injured keepers, struck back quickly with two goals from new striker Mirza and one from right defender Yoshi. However, the Afghans capitalized on Alliance lack of goal keeping taking their lead to 4-3, increasing tally to 5-3 via a penalty goal. The inaugural cup was a success. The organizers will restage the round 2 of the cup featuring the top 8 teams battling for the BayArea Premier Cup. Afghan Premier FC which is formerly also known has Afghan Soccer Club and Afghan United FC committed itself by serving Northern California since its inception in 1991 by a group of young Afghan soccer players from San Francisco Bay Area. Since its inception in 1991 Afghan Premier FC has competed in various soccer tournaments and leagues through out United States with successful results. Afghan Premier FC organizers understanding that impoverished young adult from the afghan communities globally would benefit tremendously if given the opportunity to play the game of soccer towards the professional level. Itifaq Soccer club joins the Premier Soccer League Cup

Itifaq Soccer club was founded over four years ago by a group of very dedicated Afghan community advocates within city of Tracy Ca in order to encourage and energize youth and adults through sports specially soccer. After recruiting a few players to play for fun at the beginning Tracys Itifaq club today has grown to over one hundred members. Itifaq club has players from under 10 all the way to Adults including an outstanding girls team. Our teams are now actively participating at various tournaments around bay area. Members of the Itifaq have also represented the Afghan Mens National Team
