Practice Status Line - 713-881-5383
We are pleased to announce that we have established a new BAYFA Texans Status Line at 713-881-5383 to help keep everyone informed in the event of bad weather. Please add this number to your cell phone for easy access.
The status line and the website will normally be updated by 5:15 PM in the event of bad weather. Please check one of these places before calling your GM or a board member to inquire if practice has been cancelled.
Parents please be aware that we do not take cancelling practice lightly and generally will only do so if there is lightning in the area. Football is a game that's played in the rain and the boys need to practice in it to learn how to play in it.
For those of you new to the area please be aware that it's not uncommon, especially this time of year, for thunderstorms to pop up late in the afternoon and be gone by practice time.
The status line is being sponsored by DataVox, a proud supporter of youth athletics and the BAYFA Texans.
Help Support BAYFA
In addition to volunteers we also need sponsors.
Have you asked your employer about sponsoring the Texans?
Do you know most companies have money budgeted for supporting local youth organizations? All you have to do is ask. If you’re not sure who to ask at work start with your Human Resources Department and they should be able to direct you.
