Welcome to the Home of

Boyertown Optimist Football

The primary mission of the Boyertown Optimist Youth Football Program is to aid and encourage the development of youth, in the belief that the giving of one's self in service to others will advance the well-being of the community. To develop Optimism in all student-athletes grades K thru 6th for their growth not only as football players but also as young citizens within our community. This will be accomplished by improving their life skills as well as their football abilities. All participants will be afforded the opportunity to improve these life skills through education, friendship, teamwork, and football. The purpose of this program is to provide safe, supervised football activities for the youth within the Boyertown Area School District. The objectives shall be the following:
    - To build healthy bodies and minds
    - To teach the foundation of  Optimism

    - To stimulate community interest in football and stress parental involvement thru volunteerism
    - To have fun
    - To accomplish these things with the welfare of the children first and foremost, without adult ambition for personal glory

It's time again to start our summer camp season. It is very exciting for the Boyertown coaching staff to have young athletes at camp to meet our staff, see our facilities, and spend their time with us improving their football skills.

As a football staff we hope that the campers who leave our camps are proud of the fact that they have gotten a close up view of Boyertown Bears Football.

This will be our third year that our staff has the opportunity to teach and help practice different techniques that revolve around this great game of football. We want to spend as much time as we can with our campers in teaching them the fundamentals and techniques essential to playing this great game.

Our camp is about learning, meeting new friends, meeting coaches, playing games and MOST importantly having fun playing the game of football. Camp time is going to be upon us shortly, so make your plans to meet myself, our dedicated coaching staff, and current Bears players at this year's Boyertown Bears Youth Football Camp. See you this summer.
