All registration are taken at the recreation department located at 37 East Woodrow Ave, Belmont, NC 28012. Normal office hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 7pm, Friday 8:30am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am - 12pm.

AGE GROUPS AND DIVISIONS
AGE GROUPS: Cannot turn 16 before May 1, 2012 and must be 13 by May 1, 2012
COACHES NEEDED
The Recreation Dept will need a volunteer coach for each team formed. Head coaches will get a discount on the registration fee if they signup to coach AT THE TIME they register their child.
DRAFT/MEETING
A. Draft/meeting dates are as follows:
All players will enter the DRAFT for the 2012 Spring season.
Monday May 14 at 7pm at Davis Park field.
B.. There will be a COACHES ONLY meeting on Monday April 30 at 6:30pm at Davis Park field.
C. Exemption(s): Carpooling exemptions are not allowed for any division.
1. Head coach son/daughter.
2. Sibling(s)
3. Relative that is the reason a coach is coaching (ex. An uncle is coaching for his nephew)
PRACTICES/GAMES
A. Baseball practices will begin after the draft/meeting.
B. Baseball games shall begin approx. the week of May 13 and the season shall end approx. end of June.
C. Games will generally be through the week but Saturdays may be used if needed. Makeup games will be made up as soon as possible and could possibly be any day of the week.
FEES
A. The registration fee is $35 in-city and $60 out-of-city per player for and it covers the players’ shirt, hat, officials, equipment, and maintenance. This fee DOES NOT include the trophy, banquet, pants, belt, or glove. No refund will be given after the registration date has expired. If a player drops after this point all items will be forfeited.
B. All participants will need to provide a copy of their birth certificate at time of registration.
Please help us keep the parks clean by picking up trash after the practices and games.

REGISTRATION AND ROSTERS
A. Registration will be from April 1 to April 14 on a first come first served basis.
B. Players can return to their previous years team if it is noted on the registration form
C. Roster limits: Little Tot: 8 (9 max)per team T Ball: 11 (12 max) per team
AGE GROUPS AND DIVISIONS
AGE GROUPS: Little Tot Tball cannot turn 5 before May 1st, 2012 and must be 3 by May 1, 2012
T Ball cannot turn 7 before May 1st, 2012
COACHES NEEDED
The Recreation Dept will need a volunteer coach for each team formed. Head coaches will get a discount on the registration fee if they signup to coach at the time they register their child. The number of teams will be limited to the number of volunteer coaches we have.
DRAFT/MEETING
A. Draft/meeting date is as follows:
Little Tot and T Ball: Head coaches meeting only will be held on Wednesday April 18. Little Tot at 6pm and T Ball at 7pm at the rec. dept.
Players and parents meeting will be as follows:
3-4 Little Tots: Friday April 27 at 6pm at Davis Park Field
5-6 T Ball: Friday April 27 at 6:45pm at Davis Park Field
Players will meet their teammates and coaches at this meeting and some information will be given out.
If a coach calls you about the first practice you do not need to attend this meeting.
PRACTICES/GAMES
A. Little Tot T-ball, and T-ball practice will begin the week of April 30.
B. Little Tot T-Ball and T-Ball games shall begin May 21 with a preseason kickoff and the season shall end approx. June 30. Players will receive their uniforms at the preseason kickoff.
C. Games could be any day during the week and Saturdays. Makeup games will be made up as soon as possible Game during the week will generally start at 6pm or 7pm and Saturdays starting at 9am.
FEES
A. The registration fee is $35 in-city and $60 out-of-city per player for t-ball and it covers the players’ shirt & hat. The fee does not include trophy, banquet, pants, socks, or glove.
B. No refund will be given after the registration date has expired. If a player drops after this point the all items will be forfeited.
FUNDRAISERS
A. Picture Button Sales: These can be purchased from the recreation department approximately a week after pictures have been taken. The cost of the button will be 2 for $5. We will only have buttons for players that take individual pictures on picture day
B. T-shirt and hat sales: Orders will be taken at the field at the 1st meeting and practice. T-shirts are for parents, sibling, relatives, etc. (the players uniform is included with the registration fee). This will be a t-shirt in the same color as your child’s team with the Belmont Baseball logo. The cost of the t-shirts will be $10 for S-XL, $11 for XXL, and $12 for XXXL (if available). Youth sizes are also available for $10.
SPONSORSHIP
A. Anyone or business interested in sponsoring a team please contact the Belmont Parks & Recreation Dept.
B. Sponsors will get their name on the back of the jersey, a link or recognition on the website, and a sponsor plaque to display in their home or business.
C. Money raised through fundraisers and sponsorships will be used to offset expenses of the program.
