REGISTRATION AND ROSTERS
A. Registration will be from April 1 to April 13 on a first come first served basis.
B. Players can return to their previous years team if it is noted on the registration form
C. Roster limits: Little Tot: 8 (9 max)per team T Ball: 11 (12 max) per team
AGE GROUPS AND DIVISIONS
AGE GROUPS:
Little Tot Tball cannot turn 5 before May 1st, 2013 and must be 3 by May 1, 2013
T Ball cannot turn 7 before May 1st, 2013
COACHES NEEDED
The Recreation Dept will need a volunteer coach for each team formed. The number of teams will be limited to the number of volunteer coaches we have.
DRAFT/MEETING
A. Draft/meeting date is as follows:
Little Tot and T Ball: Head coaches meeting only will be held on Wednesday April 17. Little Tot at 6pm and T Ball at 7pm at the rec. dept.
Players and parents meeting will be as follows:
3-4 Little Tots: Friday April 26 at 6pm at Davis Park Field
5-6 T Ball: Friday April 26 at 6:45pm at Davis Park Field
Players will meet their teammates and coaches at this meeting and some information will be given out.
If a coach calls you about the first practice you do not need to attend this meeting.
PRACTICES/GAMES
A. Little Tot T-ball, and T-ball practice will begin the week of April 29.
B. Little Tot T-Ball and T-Ball games shall begin the week of May 20 with a preseason kickoff and the season shall end approx. June 30. Players will receive their uniforms at the preseason kickoff.
C. Games could be any day during the week and Saturdays. Makeup games will be made up as soon as possible Game during the week will generally start at 6pm or 7pm and Saturdays starting at 9am.
FEES
A. The registration fee is $40 in-city and $65 out-of-city per player for t-ball and it covers the players’ shirt & hat. The fee does not include trophy, banquet, pants, socks, or glove.
B. No refund will be given after the registration date has expired. If a player drops after this point the all items will be forfeited.
FUNDRAISERS
- Picture Button Sales: These can be purchased from the recreation department approximately a week after pictures have been taken. The cost of the button will be 2 for $5. We will only have buttons for players that take individual pictures on picture day
B. T-shirt and hat sales: Orders will be taken at the field at the 1st meeting and practice. T-shirts are for parents, sibling, relatives, etc. (the players uniform is included with the registration fee). This will be a t-shirt in the same color as your child’s team with the Belmont Baseball logo. The cost of the t-shirts will be $10 for S-XL, $11 for XXL, and $12 for XXXL (if available). Youth sizes are also available for $10.
SPONSORSHIP
A. Anyone or business interested in sponsoring a team please contact the Belmont Parks & Recreation Dept.
B. Sponsors will get their name on the back of the jersey, a link or recognition on the website, and a sponsor plaque to display in their home or business.
C. Money raised through fundraisers and sponsorships will be used to offset expenses of the program.
Please help us keep the parks clean by picking up trash after the practices and games.
