The Big Muddy Ball Club is offering a Travel Baseball Team to boy baseball players age 12 & under, that live in Southern Illinois. You are eligible to play if you are 12 yrs old before May 1, 2009. Players that are 13 years old are still eligible if their 13th birthday is after May 2, 2009. We hope to offer girls fast pitch softball for 12 & under next season beginning September 2009. With enough interest we hope to offer more age groups for boys and girls in the upcoming years. If you have an interest in putting a team together you can contact the owners of Big Muddy Ball Club, Michael & Michelle Meracle, and inquire about coaching a team. The goals of Big Muddy Ball Club are to teach the players the correct fundamentals of the game, while preparing them for Junior High and/or High School Baseball & Softball, to teach the players solid baseball & softball fundamentals and a knowledge of the game, to make it as affordable as possible for the parents and still be very competitive, to practice all year long to improve the players skills, & to make it a fun & positive experience for the players and the players families.
