We are SO proud of everyone! Every member has already proven how focused and determined our team is for the upcoming shows. Each individual is just as important as the next, and that is the beauty of the IHSA - it turns a relatively solo sport into a team effort.

We have already started training for our first show at RIT on October 27th. We cannot wait to get the ball rolling and kick butt this season! GO BUET!

Welcome Back Binghamton!
We at BUET are so excited for the new fall semester! We expect a lot of returners and have many prospective new members to expect. Our e-board is top-notch for another year: Co-Presidents Katie McHugh and Kristen Voorhees come back for their second term, senior Lindsay Knott holds down the VP slot, junior Amelia Greene comes in for her first year as Treasurer, and Sophomore Jesse Fang joins us as the Secretary. For more about our e-board, click on our e-board bios on the left panel.

BUET is coming back full force, with a table at University Fest on September 1st to show our Binghamton pride- and we'll be chock full of info about our role on campus for interested students. Do you love horses as much as we do? Stop by our table with questions!

For the total breakdown of our team, its members, and what BUET is all about, stop by one of our two General Interest Meetings:

Wednesday September 5th 9:30 pm, room UU206
Tuesday, September 11th 9 pm, room UU206

Happy Holidays!
The Binghamton Equestrian Team wants to wish everyone happy holidays and a happy new year! We look forward to getting back in action this February with our first show at Cornell on the 19th. Go BUET!
Show Season
BUET has been killing it at our shows this semester! We started off the semester coming in 7th place at our double header in Rochester. From there we were successful both at the Alfred show and Cornell this past weekend, tying for 4th place with Alfred University. We return to Lehman Farms in Rochester this upcoming weekend to continue our success! A special congratulations to the new members who successfully survived their first few IHSA shows, and to those who already qualified for Regionals. GO BUET!
Nazareth Horse Show
The team is traveling to Rochester for the last two horse shows of the semester. Good luck team! Let's go BUET! Stop by and support the team if you're in the area.
Who is BUET?
The Binghamton Equestrian Team participates in IHSA competitions, alongside both club and varsity teams including Cornell, RIT, and Nazareth. Our goals on the Binghamton Equestrian team include promoting equestrian education, striving for excellence in competition, and having fun. Participation on the BUET will not only give members experience in the equestrian field, but also facilitate team bonding and lasting friendships. Not everyone on the Binghamton Equestrian Team is required to compete, but every member is treated equally as a crucial part of a cohesive whole. The equestrian sport by nature is rather individually based; however, IHSA competitions and collegiate riding transform personal achievements into team successes. The BUET welcomes all levels of riding experience. The team needs those new to the sport just as much as they need experienced riders. Binghamton Equestrian is a team that depends on all of its members equally, and provides rewarding experiences both inside the show ring and out.
